Everyone sits and one table and is so nice. Free tea and water. Pre set menu with amazing food. Such a nice vibe. Relax and let the staff take care of you. Good alcoholic beverages

Amazing experience - Edit
A lovely authentic Japanese fine dining experience. We went for the set dinner menu and it didn’t disappoint. I went with my partner who’s not vegan, but he very much enjoyed all the food and the experience. Highly recommend!

Best vegan Japanese ! - Edit
Men Impossible is a restaurant I’ve been going to for years already. Every time I’m in A’dam (which happens quite often) I end up going here. Really love the service and the food is amazing. It’s always a 4 course meal and there is take away at lunch time. Be sure to book in advance because just coming by won’t work!

Wonderful - Edit
Currently appointment based only but they have plenty of openings. Tables are set to encourage conversation and staff/owner is very welcoming. The space is very inviting and lovely. Got the black garlic sauce noodles and the truffle noodle. Both were exploding with flavor and portion sizes were just right. Also tried the takoyaki which was delicious. Friend who accompanied me said it was the best ramen they have ever had. Definitely recommend coming here if in town not just for food but for the entire experience.

Ramen of a Lifetime - Edit
Never knew ramen could be so good. WOW. Checked this place out after a local gave us a tip. SO glad we listened. The menu is limited, but everything on it is amazing. We tried everything we could and each thing was perfection. Can't wait to return. You need to make a reservation!

Impossible booking system - Edit
I have been wanting to check out this place for a while, and so was looking forward to it, after a long walk.
Read moreI was greeted with the question of whether I'd booked, to which I replied that I hadn't.
I was told that everything was fully booked and that their system didn't allow for me to be served, as it was showing as full.
The place was empty apart from two people sitting at the tables and another two wedged in, in front of the window.
I stood there in disbelief long enough for the staff member to place me outside with a mini arrangement, which I gladly accepted, but I'd also suggested to finish up fast and sit inside on one of the many free tables, which I was denied.
I waited for a long time to be served. I had the black garlic dish, which was nicely presented and very tasty, but it had poppy seeds in it and there were no toothpicks or tissues, so something to keep in mind for the future.
When I went in and paid, the tables were still empty, but the staff member insisted that was their 'system'. A system that needs an urgent overhaul, me thinks, as it will cost customers.
Pros: Tasty food, Friendly chef
Cons: Ridiculous and unreasonable booking system , Long waiting time
ArianaSchurpfÁvila
It's his system, he only serves food one time a day, its an exclusive 3 or 4 course dinner and you need to do a reservation with many days in advantage.

In advance.
Read moreWell, it's a 'system' that doesn't seem to work. Also: I didn't want a 3 course meal (I didn't get it, either), I just wanted a bowl. If you're a tourist in a city, looking for a vegan place, you don't have the time to reserve weeks in advance. It's just silly.
MariaBakland
It doesn't hurt to look up in advance. We are so fortunate to have loads of information today that to complain about a restaurant having their own system and you didn't check it in advance, it's not a valid con. I think it really is a good system as it makes sure that people get a table, that it won't be overbooked and one will have a better experience too. Not everyone will get what they want, but that's how it is when you're not the one managing it. It seems that most knew how it worked, so I suggest to be more prepared next time. It's all in the planning.

To me, part of the fun in travelling is in spontaneously exploring things. I don't want to have to plan everything meticulously when I'm on holiday. It was day time, not a busy time of the day, and nearly all the tables were free for the whole duration of my stay. It's okay if you don't think it's a valid point of criticism, to me, it clearly is. Have a look at Tofu vegan London. Even if they're fully booked, they'll make it work. That's how business works and stays sustainable. We don't need another good vegan restaurant closing because the owners don't know how to operate a place.

Incredible - Edit
Such rich flavors, we shared the black garlic and the white truffle ramen. The white truffle was my favorite and I added a lotus katsu which was devine. It is only two guys running the whole thing so we did have to wait about 25 minutes for the food but it was worth it.

Vegan haute cuisine - Edit
Amazing dishes and flavours, served with a lot of joy and passion. The restaurant is small, all the guest are seated together at a long table. This gives a private and special feeling, like we are in their living room. (Make sure to make a reservation) Interesting experience, I would definitely go back with other (vegan) friends!

A real deal! - Edit
An authentic Japanese food restaurant just past the Negen Straatjes of Amsterdam. The menu is easy to choose from, as it has only two options, katsu and tempura, but even then it's a minor difference. So make a reservation, sit down and enjoy the meal that comes around quickly and with much taste! Every meal comes with an explanation and there's a lot of variety. I myself loves everything, but even if you don't like every bite, there's plenty to enjoy!

Makes a real effort to please - Edit
I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy this place as I didn't think ramen would be that exciting. But I was impressed! The one man band greeted us, cooked, served, explained with friendliness and kindness. The hot and cold starters and main course were interesting and unlike any other vegan cuisine I've had, and it was clear a lot of effort had been made. I'd recommend you give it a try, even if Japanese food isn't your first choice.

One of my friends might have a small obsession with ramen. So she forced a lot of ramen on me. So I can confirm this one is really good!
