Some vegan options, but mostly bland - Edit
Most of the vegan options can also be found in other taverns as appetizers (eg eggplant salad, hummus).
Read moreThe two special vegan dishes not found elsewhere were both quite bland. The Makouroni were just noodles with olive oil (with the usual cheese just omitted, not substituted). The vegan gyros was served without any sauce and was apparently heated in a microwave, not fried.
Most other taverns serve better „accidentally vegan“ food.

The food is good, not great. Definitely more café vibes than restaurant vibes. The food was really cheap and it was nice, but not the greatest I’ve had on the island. Pretty greasy and salty. Definitely had more of a junk food kinda vibe.

Friendly staff and a lot of vegan options! Definitely a must visit when you're in Karpathos. The daughter of the owner also speaks Dutch.
