Yummy hippie pizza - Edit
Get the mega veggie pizza! I like mine with seasoned tempeh added. Be sure to order it vegan so they leave the butter and cheese off the crust.

best pizza in the country!! - Edit
I tried their pizza in North Carolina for the first time while my friends also got a non vegan cheese pizza and we couldn’t tell which one was which by the looks and taste of it!! (only they tried both) so happy they have them in dc too. Let’s be honest, most vegan pizza rarely tastes completely amazing, but this one is the real deal. Also the staff is really cool and nice. Great system managing coronavirus exposure and a nice rooftop

Try their hoagies - Edit
Cool vibe, fair amount of vegan options. The vegan pizza is good but their teriyaki tempeh/ tofu hoagies are fantastic!

Loveeee pizzA - Edit
We love anywhere we can get a good vegan pizza and good vibes. They should experiment with the vegan cheeses though so they can figure out a better vegan calzone

Vegan Soup Pizza - Edit
This is the only way I can explain it; soup pizza. The best and only good part about the pizza was the dough. I initially tried to get the vegan pizza with pineapple and teriyaki tempeh but it looked and tasted like teriyaki soup bc they dumped sooo much in the middle of the pizza. I didn’t want to be THAT person but they asked me if I wanted something different so I got a vegan cheese pizza with pineapple. When the pizza came to the table it looked like a cottage cheese pizza with an entire can of pineapple dumped in the middle of it. When I picked it up the sauce, cheese, and pineapple almost slid right off. It was veryyyy disappointing. Thankfully the manager took it off the bill bc I wasn’t satisfied but I really just wanted a bomb ass vegan pizza.

Vegan friendly pizza and more - Edit
So many places have Daisy cheese, but they don't do it like Mellow Mushroom. The cheese is extra if vegan. Still, they have a vegan pizza standard on the menu.with so many lovely veggies: mega veggie (10 different veggies)! It is a great selection, beyond just mushrooms and peppers'
Read moreThe options also include calzones and hoagies. There's tofu and tempeh, even avocado. If you want to mKe your own salad, aside from the ones on he menu, you'll be pretty free to make one you like! My favorite part of the menu is the fact that there is a gluten-free dough that is also vegan! Yum!
The biggest issue here though is the price- it feels kind of expensive to me.
Pros: Daiya, Gluten-free dough is vegan, Build your own salad available
Cons: Can be pricey
