Great drinks and decor - Edit
I love McMenamin’s. I have completed their passport twice and received all sorts of fun free merchandise and food. But, it is not a go-to place for vegan food. There aren’t a lot of choices. The cocktails, however, are really quite good (albeit expensive). They use fresh lemon, lime, and grapefruit juices… mmmm! The decor is eclectic and funky. It’s worth it just to wander around and look at the art. I would give it five stars on cocktails and ambience, but the three stars is for the limited food choices: fries, tots, Mystic Burger, salad, or Jamaican bowl (all good, but that’s it).

Decent, but few options - Edit
I ordered the Jamaican Rice Bowl. It’s one of the two vegan options on the menu. The other option was the Mystic burger. The rice bowl was good. I wish I would have ordered the curry sauce on the side like my friend did because she got a lot more that way. They were skimpy on mine. It’s got a little kick so it’s probably good to order it on the side anyway. I really liked it and definitely wanted more sauce. It’s a busy restaurant because it’s attached to the hotel. The views are just so-so of the river from inside (at least where we were sitting) but from the outdoor seating area it’s really nice. Service was very good from Steve.

Beautiful Setting - Edit
This place has the most amazing view overlooking the river, I had the Jamaican Curry with tofu as an add on extra $6.25, it’s the only vegan option but was tasty.
