Massive vegan menu - Edit
Walked into info this chipper to see if there was anything vegan in the menu. Took me a minute to realise that the large menu I was looking at was fully vegan (There is a non-vegan menu too). Lots of choice, I had the vegan slice bag but I’ll be back for more soon

Rancid in a good way - Edit
It's a tiny place, the kind of place you'd want to visit after a night out, and I think it does that well.
Read moreWe got the garlic mayo cheese chips and the battered sausage and bacon chips (I think)
They were both very loaded and oily.
Turns out too fatty for what we were craving but I think they were otherwise spot on.

Phenomenal, do NOT miss this chipper - Edit
I prioritise visiting vegan places when travelling, so this was last on my list, but... They hype is real. Do NOT skip this place if you're in Dublin. The seitan was done to a higher standard than many vegan places I've visited, just incredible if you're after a junk food fix

Great for a party night out - Edit
Had the tofu chunks with the vegan cashew cheese (normally it comes with garlic vegan mayo but you can ask the guy to switch sauce) and It was a great combo!! I feel like it’s the perfect place to eat before drinking a beer at a pub on a Saturday night😄

Pot of gold - Edit
Very kind staff who clearly know what vegan is and are happy to help you pick from the menu. The fast food menu has many vegan choices and they even go the extra mile by using separate pans and all. Now, I don't personally care about cross-contamination, but for those who do or have allergies, it would be safe and ideal.
Read moreThe burger was decent with bacon bits that made it nice and crispy. As for the chips, the cashew cheese was amazing to try out. The seitan was okay, but some pieces were a bit hard to chew. They open at 9 PM and close at 3 AM, so it’s really a spot for a late fast food dinner or for grabbing a bite after going out late. It’s for take-away only.

Fantastic! - Edit
A clear vegan menu the same size as the non-vegan one. So many options but we got a spice bag, combination (battered sausage, nuggets, onion rings) and chips with garlic sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious and all you want from a classic chipper. Quite a bit cheaper than most other vegan dinner options in Dublin, if you’re not worried about being healthy! Great to be able to try a classic Dublin takeaway with the spice bag too! Gutted we didn’t go back again before we left the city.

Very vegan friendly Irish chipper - Edit
Not only do McGuinness's cook their chips separately to all the meat products, they have a whole vegan menu of delicious junk food, ranging from the very Irish battered sausage to the very American Philly cheese steak.

Proper chipper chips - Edit
Always amazing. It's just a chipper who really know how to look after vegans. Separate fryers etc. Homemade recipes of all the classics.

Great vegan menu available late - Edit
Delicious vegan chippy menu and really really great service! Had a sandwich and chips&curry sauce, reasonably priced. The staff is lovely which I appreciate so much, highly recommend! Would be my local if I lived in Dublin. Such a good find when everything else is closed

I used to come here so often they knew my name - I’m never disappointed. The full vegan menu is delicious and gives the experience of a proper chipper. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Pretty good - Edit
It was nice to have vegan options for fish n' chips. But it was basically just pieces of tofu, not much flavor.

Great late night option - Edit
We had the “meat lovers” pizza and the vegan cheesesteak meal with salt and vinegar chips. All of it was fresh and delicious and far exceeded our expectations for that late hour. It’s hard to find vegan food late at night but they are doing it really well! Their cashew cheese is delicious 🤤

Really pleased with my food! - Edit
I ordered a double burger with vegan bacon and cashew cheese, with chips and a drink, and it was banging! The chips especially were top notch. I got it as a takeaway, it travelled well, and the portions were great. Excellent value for money and I recommend it!

Incredible food - Edit
What's not to love about this chipper? . The chips are fantastic and the battered sausages really tasty. For central Dublin, the prices are very cheap and there's a few stools if you want to sit down and eat. No photos to add because I gobbled up all the food before remembering to take a pic

EXCELLENT vegan options - Edit
I love their curry cheese chips, I tend to add curry sauce to the order to make it a bit extra yum. They are so friendly, have a lot of pride on their vegan offerings and are really authentic in homemade food.

My favourite chipper - Edit
It is really, really wonderful to have a chipper in Dublin with a huge vegan menu!! Their philly cheesesteak is amazing and my favourite thing on the menu. Super reasonably priced, great staff, and worth any wait (it can get busy in the evenings).

Good vegan food, in-house delivery is a work in progress though - Edit
They have decent vegan food (from our previous experience of in-person ordering), but we had a big struggle with their in-house delivery service on 9th April 2021. However, on expressing our troubles with the delivery, the owner reached out to hear our concerns and confirmed that they are working on bettering their delivery service. We really appreciated them reaching out, and look forward to their improved delivery service in future.

Perfect vegan chipper - Edit
The Philly cheezestreak is second to none. I love the battered tofu chunks too. And the vegan garlic dip comes in a generous portion size with enough for another meal.

Unreal vegan takeaway - Edit
Got the fake chicken burger but want to try the whole menu. They have lots of options including tofu, tempeh etc. Only thing is chips aren’t great! They were chipper chips but very dry.

Great junk food! - Edit
This is not normally the type of vegan food I go for, but if you're craving some junk food, this is perfect! I had the Philly 'Cheese' Steak Sandwich and my partner had a vegan burger with bacon. Both with chips.
Read moreI was super happy with mine, it was really delicious comfort food. My partner however felt the burger he got was too bland and dry and while he appreciated the effort, he said mine was a lot tastier, so he was left slightly disappointed. I do agree, the burger didn't even look too appetising and the 'bacon' was almost invisible.
Definitely would like to return and sometimes get a craving for the cheese steak sandwich! It's also worth noting that they make a point of using separate oil and fryers for the vegan and meat foods, which I think is important.

Pros: Separate oil and fryers for vegan and meat options, Vegan menu as varied as the standard menu, Great effort put into the vegan menu!
Cons: The burger wasn't too impressive

Good deep fried food - Edit
I got the vegan deep fried tofu, nuggets, onion rings, and battered sausage. They were all good but a bit oily. The food is definitely very deep fried but if that’s what you’re looking for it’s great.
