Greatest disappointment of 2024 - Edit
We used to come here almost every week to eat amazing vegan pizza and pasta. They now changed the menu and all vegan options are gone.

The most basic pasta on the planet aglio e olio they added shrimps and would not make it without them. Why?
They did agree to veganize one of the pastas… but they didn’t, they removed the parmesan but the sauce was made with milk.
Shocking experience.

Selbst aus Sicht eines „Fleischfressers“ ist die umfangreiche Karte nicht so der Hit: Pizza, Pasta,… die Sandwiches (= aufgemotzte Stullen) sind eher ungewöhnlich (im Sinne einer guten Idee).
Read moreWir hatten eine der veganen Pizzen (weiß jetzt nicht mehr welche), und die war richtig gut. Der vegane Mozzarella war etwas geschmacklos, aber immer noch besser als der undefinierbar-klebrige Streukäse von der Pizza Bande. Insgesamt sehr „italienisch“.
Bitte Vorsicht bei der Kennzeichnung: grünes Blatt = vegetarisch; zwei grüne Blätter = vegan
Der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell; wenn man drinnen sitzt, dann kann der Geruch aus der offenen Küche schon störend sein (ich habe es nicht gemerkt, aber meine Begleitung).
Preislich alles im Rahmen. Ich sehe es so: Mal was anderes, ich werde bestimmt noch mal hingehen, gehört nicht zu meinen Favoriten.

Das Ambiente und die Bedienung waren super. Die Weine waren auch gut. Ich hatte die Pizza mit veganem Käse und Champignons und muss sagen, dass sie mir absolut nicht geschmeckt hat. Die Champignons waren zu dick und nicht ‚durch‘, auf Nachfrage gab es kein Oregano und die Pizza war sehr wabbelig.

Read moreAccording to their website Mazé Mazé means "tasty tasty" in Urdu, which I was able to verify (kind of). You pronounce it like in French (accent on the e).
However, it is far from a Pakistani restaurant. They have all kinds of foods, a mishmash of cuisines - Italian, Mexican, Indian among others.
I had samosas and the verdura tacos. Portions weren't particularly big. Samosas were fine, but not so flavourful as I like them. Tacos also fine, bit too oily and borderline bland. Taking into consideration the high prices, I would give both 6/10 at best. However, the cocktails/long drinks are amazing. Also not cheap, but very well done and taste fantastic!
The pizzas looked tempting.
Notoriously busy in the evening. Fairly easy to book a table on their website though.
Pros: terrific cocktails, nice modern venue

With a broad choice everyone should find something here. The tacos were nice and fresh. I had better samosas though, but this is not an Indian restaurant. Huge outdoor seating space.

If I could, I’d give 5 stars! Was there yesterday with my flatmates and all of us really liked it! Decorations and atmosphere was awesome, staff was very friendly and attentive. There are several labeled vegan options. We shared the samosas, and vegetables in chickpea dough. Both were very tasty, even though the later was my favorite. As a main dish I had the verdura tacos (with veggies and guacamole) which were tasty but not outstanding. One of my flatmates had the other vegan taco option which she said was also tasty but not that satisfactory due to rather „boring“ filling (which she knew from the beginning obviously). Both of us were pleasantly filled after a starter taco. Another flatmate had a (non-vegan) pizza and really liked it. But from what his pizza looked like (especially the dough) I think (vegan) pizza would be a good option for the next time as well :). Definitely a place where one can also go with his/her family without them complaining. I‘ll go there again soon and hope to remember to take some pictures!
