Offers burgers, nuggets, fries, shakes, salads, and combo meals. Vegan options include a bbq sandwich, burger and vegan crispy no chicken (ask for egg-free mayo). The vegan dips include bbq, sriracha-ketchup, sweet n sour, and vegan mayo. Open Mon-Thu 10:00am-2:00am, Fri-Sat 10:00am-5:00am, Sun 10:00am-2:00am.

Great fastfood with marked Carbon footprint - Edit
Many plant-based options on the meny. All burgers have a clearly marked carbon footprint. A good place for vegan fastfood.

Totally fine but always double check if it’s vegan - Edit
Since I live close by, I tend to eat here when going out or I’m to lazy making food. They have some vegan options in nuggets, chicken burger and normal burger. Also some milkshake. Everything is fine. But around every third time I order from Max I get something wrong, either something is missing or the burger actually not being vegan. So always check that you actually got what you ordered, especially if it’s for take away and if you order in the evening, when it’s super busy.

Go-to fast-food place - Edit
This is my absolute go-to whenever I crave fast-food, and it never fails to leave me full, satisfied and wanting to come back. Their burger pattys and "no chicken" is beyond me, both in look, taste and similarity to animal-based meat.

Best vegan chicken - Edit
Im so impressed by their vegan chicken, because its unbelievably close to the taste and texture of real chicken. I’ve had friends not believing its not chicken hahah 😩 I always order the no chicken burger when I crave fast food. They have so many vegan options and I like that they promote their green menu.

Stunning vegan chicken burger - Edit
The vegan no chicken burger was excellent. Great amount of salad and good addition of the egg free mayo. Good price too. There are also option of vegan chicken nuggets and another burger. Chips weren’t quite up to scratch.

Surprisingly good vegan/vegetarian fast food - Edit
I’m not a big fan of fast food but arriving late, MAX was near where I was staying and open! Their Green Menu has a lot of choice for vegans and I have to say, the ‘chicken’ burger was dam tasty. They had a good range of sauces too.

Better than McDonalds! - Edit
This is my favorite fast food chain! I have been here many times with my friends and we have tried all the vegetarian and vegan options. The food is really good (I mean it’s not gourmet but it’s good fast food). The quality of the food is good and it’s a great option if you want something fast or something late at night. I recommend getting the veggie burger with avocados.

the Vegan BBQ burger is great! - Edit
Max Hamburgers looks like a usual Fast Food chain, but they really have one vegan BBQ burger and three other vegetarian burgers whereof two addt. can be made vegan as well. The restaurants are spread through Oslo and I also saw them on the high ways and in Sweden as well.

The BBQ Sandwich Oumph burger is amazing - Edit
It's like McDonald's, so it's best for take-away. Every location has the same menu, so you can go to the one on Karl Johan street (Egertorget) as well. The BBQ Sandwich is simply amazing.
