Don’t bother - go to Byron instead - Edit

Editing my review! Went back January 2022 - only one vegan option this time and although very nice house made tofu and salad very light and overpriced. We ended up ordering chips because we were still hungry. Again - no offer to veganise anything despite the option to advise in advance on booking. Really disappointing in a region that prides itself on being green. Service was great, coffee was abysmal. So many great vegan restaurants in Byron - these guys need to get with the times.

Previous visit: Two vegan options - one on the menu and one on the board. No offer to veganise any other dishes though even though we asked the server to check with the chef so I wouldn’t call this a vegan-friendly restaurant even though I told them we were we fan when I booked two days before. Not entirely convinced the pesto on the gnocchi didn’t have Parmesan in it. Having said that good quality food, very tasty. They use local organic produce including from their own huge vege garden. Prices are high because of this.

Awesome! - Edit

Just went to Mavis' Kitchen for lunch (again) and had the most scrumptious lunch and dessert. The owners are very happy to cater to vegans and the chefs always delight us with their creations - we've never been disappointed. We've also never been treated like we were a 'hassle' for requesting vegan fare. Lovely setting, happy staff and excellent quality food will have us coming back for more!
PS. Dogs with responsible owners are also welcomed but make sure you book so you can get a garden table.

Pros: High quality food, Super fresh food

Cons: None - it is outstanding!
