Burger restaurant with vegan burgers, fries, sides and cookies. Restaurant has two entrances: Walk a few steps towards the lake from the 15 Merchants' Wharf Condo Entrance and then make a right through the covered breezeway and our patio / door is on the right, alternatively walk to the west side of the building (towards downtown) and we have an entrance overlooking Sherbourne Common Park. Nashville sauce contains honey. Reported closed November 2023.

Well crafted fast food - Edit
This place is either in a great location or crappy location depending on the season and what you are doing that day. But the food is made made well, the french fries are crispy and juicy and you can get Bubbly as a beverage option which is awesome because I don't like to drink regular soda! It one ups Odd Burger by a tad... but they don't make their own burger patties or, more importantly, chicken fingers. Maverick's uses Impossible chicken fingers - which actually aren't that amazing. Odd Burger's chicken is waaay better. The location is great in the summer when you are on a bike ride. I didn't like the "icy beverage" too much. Kind of like an overly sweet, watered down shake.

Best vegan burgers we had in Toronto - Edit
Really yummy vegan Burger Restaurant. We went there twice during our three day stay in Toronto and had not been disappointed. We had the Dragon Burger, the 6IX burger, the bacon Cheeseburger (all vegan). We also ordered the loaded Pickle Dilly Waffle Fries, the Highschool Waffle Fries (w/gravy) and the fries with bbq sauce (Crazy Canuck). Everything was so delicious and the staff really nice. The restaurant is near sugar beach. Make sure you pull the door very hard- some people including us thought the restaurant was closed, but it was just the door 😊.

I loved the bacon cheese burger and the dill pickle waffle fries. 10/10 place for a classic burger, and i always struggle to find a place with good waffle fries and they have amazing ones! Will be back!

Ok I already love waffle fries but these waffle fries were extra good! I had a BaconCheese burger which was very nice especially the patty and my husband had the chicken tenders which he said are the best he’s ever had! BBQ sauce was also very impressive!

The 6ix burger was phenomenal. The barbecue and onion ring mix was delightful! We also tried the pickle dilly fries and they were AWESOME. The pickle seasoning on them was sour and savory. Absolutely loved it. The maverick sauce was not my favorite- it was very mustardy. But the beyond tenders sauced in buffalo were so yummy! Perfect amount of sauce and a delicious flavor. The only other downside was the gelato was freezer burnt, as it is stored in individual cups. Additionally, the flavor of the gelato beyond the freezer burn was just not very good.

I try to go to Mavericks as often as I can when I'm eating out. The burgers are so good. The cheeseburger is my favourite with melted vegan cheese and faux bacon. The Nashville slider is really delicious and in general their beyond meat 'chicken' options are so good. Plenty of my non-vegan friends rave about the 'chicken'.

My son and I, both from Los Angeles, got the Bollywood and 6IX Burgers, respectively, and they were both excellent! We also shared the pickle Dilly fries and they were fantastic. Leave a review if you go, they are really doing great work here and could use your support...and deserve it, too!
