Serves meat, vegan options available. Thai food restaurant in a shopping plaza across from Kihei beach. Contemporary decor with a full bar area to one side. Menu denotes the vegetarian dishes, and staff understand what vegan means. Note that the pad thai contains fish sauce. The one vegan-possible curry is yellow curry. Could ask to make a fried rice or stir fried noodle dish vegan. Uses tofu and vegetables. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:30pm, 4:00pm-8:30pm.

I really liked the yellow curry - Edit
They have a vegetarian menu if you ask for it. It doesn't have vegan options written on it, so you have to ask about them. But the staff was very friendly and we got a good service.
Read moreWe had the green papaya salad ($14) and the yellow curry. The papaya salad was good, but I'm not a huge fan of it. The yellow curry with vegetables and tofu was very good ($18 2 for rice).

Many vegan options - Edit
The green papaya salad was SO good. Haven’t found a Thai place that will make this vegan - until now! The shiitake mushroom mixed vegetable stir fry had no shiitake mushrooms so was a bit disappointing but I would definitely return for the green papaya salad and to try more dishes.
Read moreSeveral items can be made vegan and staff all seem knowledgeable about which of their meals can be made vegan and dedicated to ensuring they are vegan. Options include yellow curry, roti dip (Indian flatbread with vegan curry), soups, drunken noodles, stir fries, and fried rice. Tofu can be added to all the entrees.

Vegan yellow curry - Edit
I am only giving this 4 stars due to the only curry they have that is vegan is the yellow curry; however, it was the best curry I have had so definitely worth it!

Enjoyed our dinner here - Edit
My family and I love Thai food. My kids always get Tom Kha with veggies and tofu and eat it over rice like curry - they enjoyed it here. I got the yellow curry (vegan), and my husband got the drunken noodles with fried tofu. 😋

So-so - Edit
I ordered the veggie summer rolls with peanut sauce. I’ve had many summer rolls, and peanut sauces…i didn’t expect the rolls to have a lot of flavor, because they’re just veggies. Generally the peanut sauce is what makes them yummy. Sadly that didn’t happen…very plain and flavorless sauce. The peanut sauce and rolls at the Moon market in the shopping center next door looked much better…next time I’ll try those instead.

Decent amount of vegan options. - Edit
Not the best Thai I’ve ever had, but I appreciated that they had lots of vegan options and things that could be made vegan. We got the massaman curry (which was really good) and the pineapple rice (which was okay/good, but needed some more seasoning). The potato samosas were great as well.

Only one truly vegan curry - Edit
Quick service, though expensive. The only vegan curry is listed clearly on the menu, unfortunately it was all we could order. It was very tasty though!

Loved everything. Online order - Edit
We placed a pickup order. I liked that it was easy to identify the vegan options. The summer rolls and samosas were good. Hubby let me try his hawaiian pineapple rice which we had the meat omitted from and it was also good. Gappy there wasnt egg in the hawaiian rice. Would eat there again so i can try other menu items. Edamame was standard.

Vegetarian options are marked on the menu. Ask about vegan. They got slammed right as we walked in and were very communicative about how long food would take. Make a reservation in advance if you can!

Fair amount of vegan options - Edit
Saw this listed on happycow and decided to give it a try this week. Here's my Maui Thai restaurant review.
Read moreIt's tucked away in the back of a plaza. The space is pleasant with plenty of seating. Menu marks with carrot sign the vegetarian dishes (most of which are vegan suitable). Additionally a couple of noodles and fried rice dishes on the back of the menu can be vegan as well, though not marked.
The prices are not cheap but not expensive either. I tried the drunken spicy fried rice (very spicy, tasty), the stir fried vegetables with tofu (ok but salty), and the fresh spring rolls served with peanut sauce.
Pros: staff know what vegan means
Cons: high sodium

Cute locale, vegan options limited - Edit
This restaurant was adorable and the wait staff was nice and pretty knowledgeable about their menu. I did appreciate that their menu clarifies that all fried veg items are fried in the same oil as meats and that you need to ask to substitute the fish sauce in most dishes. I will say that there were maybe 3-4 vegan friendly things to eat here.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
We visit this restaurant every time we are on Maui. They have completely remodeled the place since we were last on the island, and it looks great. The menu now indicates that you should inform your server if you are vegan, which we did. She was very knowledgable, and pointed out that we could have the shiitake spring rolls, the summer rolls, yellow curry, any of the soups, any of the noodle or rice dishes could be prepared vegan, and the vegetable stir fry is vegan as is. We got the summer rolls, which came with peanut and plum sauces, and were delicious. Even with all of the entree choices we both chose the yellow curry, and loved it as well. Rice comes separately, so we got a large to share. We left stuffed, and had leftovers to take with us. It is pricey, (our meal before tip was $45) but what on Maui isn't expensive?

fast service but expensive and not good quality food - Edit
Located in the back of the shopping center. Good atmosphere and fast friendly service. Menu/website says "all dishes can be made vegetarian"- this is deceiving. The word "vegetarian" in this restaurant includes fish and shrimp sauce. Thus, when specifically asked for vegan dishes, only several vegan options available. We ordered the yellow curry (only vegan curry) and Pad-see-Eww noodles along with Thai ice tea (with coconut milk) and a samosa appetizer. The bill at the end is $60 (including tip). Veggies provided in the curry and noodle dishes were limited. Overall, it's a disappointing and expensive experience.
