Amazing sushi rolls! - Edit
We stopped in hoping to find a sushi restaurant that would accommodate and make us some vegetarian/vegan rolls and boy did we score! The owner quickly made us a 5 plate meal. The owner spoke great English and completely understood vegan and vegetarian. He asked who was ok with egg and that was the only ordering that we did. We got a wasabi leaf roll, a baby bamboo, blowtorched cabbage, seaweed, walnut roll (wow this was good, never had walnuts in sushi before) and a fried tofu boiled in soy sauce stuffed with rice, and a few other plates. It was the best sushi we had in Japan. The owner is a skilled boomerang thrower and made us paper ones to take with us too!
