Serves meat, vegan options available. A tea room that can provide vegan high tea with both savory as well as sweet courses. Open Tue-Thu 9:00am-4:00pm, Sat-Sun 10:00am-6:00pm.
I attended an event at Mary Eats Cake and found the veggie food offering to be excellent! Everything was really flavoursome and there was great variation. Their scones are unlimited and some of the best I've ever tasted. The staff were so lovely, it was a birthday celebration and we were made to feel extra special. Will definitely be recommending this place!
We went here recently after hearing such great things about their vegan high tea.
When we booked online we selected vegan, and wrote in notes that we were vegan (there is a $4 extra charge for vegan).
When we arrived and we’re sat at our table we instantly were about to get stuck into our pot of tea, but realised that our milk and cream was not vegan. They apologised and said they didn’t realise this table was suppose to be setup as vegan.
After 50 mins of waiting (in our 2 hour timed session) we got our food, and so did the vegetarians near us. That’s when we all realised vegans and vegos are served last.
The desserts and scones were on point. The savoury was some of the weirdest things and textures I’ve eaten.
Overall not too bad but there is definitely better vegan high teas out there.
Took my teenage daughter here for high tea. It was beautiful. Three different teas to choose from included in the high tea package. The scones with jam and cream were delicious.
