That place is my new go to - Edit
Such a lovely location. Street food style place with some tables around the kitchen booth. Food was incredible yummie with lots to chose from. Perfect for a quick lunch or something on the side. You’ll also get away from the more crowded area. Owners are very kind.

My new favorite restaurant - Edit
It is delicious, cheap, food comes out fast, staffs are super friendly and they have so many options. I regret not trying this place sooner.
Read moreI tried their tteokbokki, tofu kimbab, soy chicken, mul-makguksu, and california roll. My #1 was definitely the california roll. It really does taste like sushi, and they did an amazing job with the texture. Also liked the tteokbokki. It tasted like street tteokbokki I used to eat when I was a kid hahaha. Overall food was really good and I was so satisfied.

Maru is a great place to eat. Staff is so friendly and meals are super budget friendly.
Read moreThere are a few things here I really dont like. The California roll and the kimchi quesadilla. Other than that I think everything is pretty good, although a little salty.
My favorite is the bibimmyeon (summer seasonal), chicken. Ddeokbokki and kimbap are a classic combo

Vegan bunsik - Edit
I’ve been really missing Korean bunsik since going vegan so this was a true treat. Ordered “ham” kimbap and fried “chicken”. Food came with a cup of soup (traditionally fish cake soup) like you’d get at other bunsik stores. Flavours were good but the chicken “meat” was pretty tough to chew. Also I went at around 3-4pm and it was pretty difficult getting a seat. There were two big tables right in front and three small tables at the back. Would love to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Unsure - Edit
This place is inspired by Supreme Master Ching Hai and run by followers of her.
Read moreWhen we first got there, we were a little surprised since the place didn’t seem to be clean, the tables were a little dirty and sticky and the menu was sticky as well.
The food though was really good, even though we suppose the ramen were instant ramen. The dumplings were tasty. But the overall experience wasn’t as good as we thought it would be. We did not feel completely comfortable.

Amazing - Edit
When I went to Korea 2.5 years ago, I didn't like the food tbh. Didn't matter where I ate, it was "eh" at most. This place was different: The food was fkn amazing! My omni friend loved the food as well. The pricing is very reasonable, cheap even I would say. Wished I'd lived closer to this restaurant, I would've eaten here everyday to avoid all the disappointments and money wastes. For me, it was the best Korean food experience.

Nice little place - Edit
First time I came here I ordered the kimbab, odeng, & soy chicken. I found everything to be just okay. I came here a second time & ordered the dumpling rice cake soup along with the California roll. So far my favorite dish is the dumpling rice cake soup. It was just what I needed on a cold winter day! Also, the people who work here are super sweet which is important to me!
