There are a lot of vegan dishes available - all on their own menu. We tried a lot and were never disappointed. The staff is really friendly too.

Die Auswahl an veganen Speisen ist sehr groß. Wir haben uns für eine Suppe und Wantans als Vorspeise und vegane Ente und veganes Chicken als Hauptspeise entschieden. Alles war sehr lecker und der Service war top!

Delicious food and a lot of vegan options on a separate menu - Edit
There's a separate vegan menu with a lot of different dishes. I've tried the Pad Thai with tofu and Tofu Kung Bao there and thought that both were delicious.

Vegan menu including sushi - Edit
There are a lot of options on an entirely separate vegan menu. They have vegan sushi as well, which is nice. They have some sort of fake meat for a few of the dishes, which I had in the vegan pho. I do not recommend the fake meat, which I believe is made of seitan, but otherwise I have enjoyed their food. It is cash only and their terrace is unshaded.

Markt28 ist zu einem meiner Lieblingsrestaurant mit veganen Optionen geworden. Sogar eine komplette vegane Karte gibt es und auch Änderungen nehmen sie entgegen. Gutes Ambiente und sehr zentrale Lage in der Innerstadt Kaiserslautern. Natürlich kann die Essenqualität noch aufsteigen, für die Auswahl in Kaiserslautern dennoch sehr gut.

Muy buena opción vegana en el centro - Edit
Está completamente en el centro de Kaiserslautern. El lugar es muy tranquilo y la comida estaba muy buena. En la carta principal parece que no había muchas opciones veganas pero tienen otra aparte con toda la comida. Tienen platos más típicos vietnamitas, sustitutos de carne (pollo, pato, etc.) y muchas otras opciones. La verdad es que me sorprendió :)

I have been going to markt28 for three years now. I'm there every other week. We went yesterday and after eating for a bit i found some chicken in my vegan dish. The new waiter gives me attitude every single time and so did he yesterday when we addressed the issue. It was very uncomfortable. He insisted on giving me the same dish new for takeaway. I went along with it.. cause mistakes can happen. well i just heated it all up and it genuinely seems like they just filled that old food that contained the chicken in a takeaway box and sealed it. I always ask for extra peanuts on my dish and that's also what i did yesterday. The peanut Thai curry usually doesn't include whole peanut pieces.. but after a few bites again.. i realized I've had the peanuts in this food. Not on top of the food like usually when i ask for it.. but mixed in it. Like mixed like i stirred it around when I ate it first. I'm genuinely disappointed. This used to be my favorite spot and now i just can't trust them anymore.

Read moreAs an appetizer we had the Spring Roll with vegetables and tofu. It was more of an egg roll than a Spring roll. The Fried Soya Bean Curd Thai style was not what we received, it was a coconut sauce with veggies...a bit too salty as well. However the fried noodles with veggies was pretty good. We would probably visit again.
Update: we tried the Pho and it was just ok...had to remove the fake meat. Will not try again. Our best dish is the fried noodles with veggies/tofu and mushrooms.

Es gibt eine Speisekarte auf welcher die selben Gerichte wie die mit Fleisch sind aber als vegane Alternative was perfekt ist für wenn man mit den alles Esser,Vegetarier und Veganer unterwegs ist und ein Restaurant für alle braucht. Auf das Essen muss man mindest. 30 min warten egal was man bestellt aber dafür ist es frisch und sehr lecker eben kein fast food Restaurant

Too many mistakes - Edit
I used to eat here frequently, but now, with every order, I deal with long waits and mistakes. Once, they served me meat, even though I clearly stated vegan. Another time, they left out part of my order - after waiting 20 minutes past time food was supposed to be ready - and told me it would be 10 more minutes to get missing dish. Apparently they didn’t care if the correct part of the order was cold. They didn’t even attempt to make it right, but we’re happy to take my money. I hope they get things figured out before losing more regular customers.

Das Labeling der Produkte ist manchmal ein bisschen verwirrend, weil auch Fleischgerichte teilweise „Vegan __“ benannt sind und der Service muss unbedingt noch verbessert werden. Sie Gerichte selbst sind sehr lecker. Die vegane Ente sah dem Original so ähnlich, dass ich mich zunächst gar nicht getraut habe es zu probieren - Stellte sich aber als köstlich heraus. Das Sushi war liebevoll und künstlerisch angerichtet und hat uns mehr als überrascht.

Favourite Sushi Place - Edit
It's my favourite Sushi Place in Kaiserslautern. They habe a variety of Sushi Plates, but also many different warm dishes. The staff is very nice and the food ist delicious.
