Lovely lunch - Edit
We sat outside on a hot day.
Read moreLovely vegan options on the lunch menu and also a separate vegan menu. I’m doing 16/8 fasting at the moment so I only just managed two small plates of falafel and cauliflower bhaji from the lunch menu and my son had the third dish in the offer. Both mine were delicious- didn’t try his but he ate it quick smart!
When the bill came it was wrong but soon fixed.
I’d go again!
Pros: Choice , Great falafels

Mediocre - Edit
There was a good vegan menu but being charged £9 for a head of broccoli wasnt great. Disco cauliflower was good but the food was mediocre at best.

Incredible take on middle eastern cuisine - Edit
I absolutely love Maray! Middle eastern food is my favourite cuisine and they do it so well! Bold flavours, well presented and pretty healthy too as it's mainly vegetables and pulses. There are no mock meats and although not exclusively a vegan restaurant, a huge proportion of the dishes are vegan and you'll be spoilt for choice. Service is always amazing here too!

Amazing food but small choice - Edit
Amazing food however the choice is small. Tapas for sharing so hard if you are the only vegan in a group

Separate vegan menu with lots of delicious options. Highly recommend the Disco cauliflower and the crispy aubergine. The local Carmen IPA was fab too.

I had the disco cauliflower, aubergine and the pickled cabbage, I loved them all. It has a really good menu which is mostly vegetarian and vegan. The flavours are really great.

Fried aubergine to die for - Edit
The sign at the entrance said vegan and vegetarian friendly, and they are not joking. There are three or four meat dishes, and everything else was vegan or could be made vegan -- except possibly the desserts, although we were too full to even think pudding.
Read moreThe fried aubergine was perfect, and the falafel and pita were truly incredible. I would visit Liverpool again just for the food here! Very much recommend!
Didn't take more photos because I couldn't wait to get started eating, and then it was so good I didn't want to stop!

Disappointing, sadly - Edit
Nipped in for a drink and nibbles on a weekday afternoon during a dockside stroll and on seeing the 50% vegan offer advertised.
Read moreWe shared the hummus, pita and cauli bhajis. Food was nice, but felt pricey for what you got if we’d been paying full price. I think the main thing that affected our experience here was the inattentive and verging-on-unprofessional staff. Two of the staff, including our server, spent most of our visit on their mobile phone in clear view of the restaurant oblivious to the surroundings/customers. We felt like our attempts at eye contact etc were being deliberately ignored. The food was tasty - partic liked the pom in the hummus and the zesty dressing that came with the bhajis - (although limited vegan options, particularly if you were going out for dinner. Sadly this was overall a disappointing experience.
Pros: Tasty food, 50% off vegan stuff, Dock views outside
Cons: Inattentive staff, Limited menu, Slightly deadish vibes

Lovely food and cocktails - Edit
Has a separate vegan menu with plenty of choice. Really enjoyed everything I tried and would definitely return to try even more. Non-vegan cocktails were clearly labelled and easy to avoid too, which isn't often the case elsewhere.

Great vegan options. The disco cauliflower was having a party in my mouth. I couldn't decide which vegan options to buy. So, I bought all of them
