A total joy

We had our anniversary lunch here. The separate vegetarian / vegan menu was full of great choices. The mushroom plate was amazing. It’s expensive food. but you can see why. Importantly, the alcoholic drinks were VERY reasonably priced, and so offset the somewhat higher cost of the food. Worth the trip.

Pros: Imaginative food, high quality ingredients, Helpful staff, Fabulous setting

Amazing options/vegan veg separate menu

I was amazed to find a separate veg/vegan menu here which is quite extensive. Staff explained they can make any vegetarian dish vegan also. Great to see local produce being admired to create beautiful vegan meals, especially in an old style pub in the country.
I had the vege burger with fries and couldn’t fault. They make their own tomato sauce which added a beautiful taste.
This place has beautiful views and has a lovely vibe. Very friendly and accompanying staff.
Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back.
