Glad to have found this place - Edit
Tyler has a handful of restaurants that offer vegan options, and Manny’s is one of the best for me!
Read moreI’ve had the vegan relleno and it was spicy and yummy. I didn’t get of picture that time. Most recently I’ve really enjoyed the quesadilla! Very good!
Pros: Several options , Nice staff, No modifications needed- has a vegan menu
Cons: The pinto beans are very bland

Surprisingly Great Vegan Food! - Edit
I found this restaurant via the app yesterday, so decided to check it out since I was quite hungry and it was close by, and I wasn't disappointed; while their vegan options menu is on the small side (I think there was only 5-6 meals to choose from), I was still very happy they even had a vegan menu at all, and eventually chose the Grilled Portobello Mushroom Quesadilla. Make sure to ask a waiter/waitress for the vegan menu, as it's separate from their regular menu.
Read moreIn addition to the quesadillas, it came with a side of beans, rice, some lettuce on the side; I don't know what kind of lettuce it was unfortunately, but it wasn't the typical shredded lettuce you usually see, and freshly fried chips with salsa, and for a little over 15 bucks it was worth it! The mushrooms were very well seasoned and had a meaty-like texture when I bit into them; I see why a lot of vegan recipes use mushrooms as a protein/meat replacement, the vegan cheese actually melted and looked edible, the rice and beans were good as well, and the chips were hot and crispy too.
Unfortunately, the meal didn't come with a drink nor did I look at the prices for them, and the desserts aren't vegan; they have cheesecake, sopapillas, and flan if I remember correctly, so you'll have to get dessert elsewhere, but I still had a great experience here at Manny's and would definitely eat there again whenever I'm in Tyler again.
Pros: Vegan menu!, Great taste!, Helpful staff

Mannys- vegan menu is the best in town! - Edit
This is the same Mannys that was here before. It closed and then reopened. Same menu. This Mexican restaurant has a vegan menu and it’s all delicious! Tried almost all of it. Green sauce on the enchiladas is hot, if you don’t like hot, sub it for another sauce. If you like hot, ask for their “special hot sauce” for the chips. They have another not hot “special sauce” that’s orange, but it has dairy in it I believe. You have to ask for it. My favorite, so delicious, is the vegan quesadilla! Also vegan enchiladas and nachos are amazing. They have a full regular menu too for your non vegan friends. Although they do it up so good here that this would be the place to introduce vegan food to someone.
