Delicate flavours, well crafted recipes - Edit
Manju's sets itself apart from many other Indian restaurants by virtue of the fact that it keeps things minimal and focuses on quality over quantity.

Spot on - Edit
I have been wanting to come here for ages and it didn't disappoint. It is a lovely cosy restaurant, no big groups here. The restaurant is vegetarian, and around half of the menu is vegan. The restaurant is family run and so the staff are very knowledgeable and obviously feel passionate about the food and service. The food is designed for sharing, it was all totally delicious. We will definitely be back.

Delicious food, family run - Edit
Manjus on Trafalgar Street in Brighton is back!
Read moreWe visited last night and had the most delicious meal. The chutneys served with poppadums are nothing like you will experience anywhere else and they transform poppadums.
We ate the Sesame Tikki, Mushroom Palak and Matar Ringan Posho. All amazing. The Mushroom Palak had a good gravy and spice. We drank the Bangla beer and the lovely South African Cabernet Sauvignon.
The staff/family are delightful, welcoming and informative.
Long live Manjus!
Pros: Family run, Friendly, Great food

Delicious, delicate and delightful - booking recommended! - Edit
Completely vegetarian and vegan, Manju's is an absolute delight. Even the drinks menu identifies what is and isn't vegan.

The staff are friendly and, when we went (a packed Tuesday night) took the time to talk to us, explain the dishes and find out what inspired us to visit.
The food is absolutely gorgeous - just enough of everything, delicious and delicately flavoured. It has been years since I ate Indian food this good.
Pros: Plenty of vegan options
Cons: Booking highly recommended

Delicious veg/vegan Indian restaurant - Edit
Indian food like you've never had before. Can't recommend this family run restaurant enough and a great place to take your meat eating friends to show how delicious food can be without it. Super friendly service from people really passionate about what they serve. Make sure you book ahead!

Great new Indian Restaurant - Edit
I visited this place with my Wife and Daughter on Saturday, we were all very impressed with the food and the service. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you want an Indian meal that is a cut above the usual! very friendly and reasonably priced too! We will certainly be going back for more! I would strongly suggest booking as the place is quite small and very popular after being open for a short time

Fave Indian restaurant in Brighton - Edit
Lovely friendly restaurant with a fusion of modern and traditional Indian style throughout.
Read moreAll veggie with lots of vegan / vegan options items clearly marked on the menu.
Beautifully presented food with great fresh flavours.
We had spinach and onion patties and spicy Mogo chips for starters. Both came with delicious chutneys and dips. Channa main dish was a good spicy curry served with rice, bread and salad, thali style. The dhosa was a nice crisp pancake with tasty potato curry, chutneys and lentil soup side - the soup was sweet and spicy, much nicer than many others I've been given with dhosa in other places.
The staff were great, just the right level of attentiveness, and brought us vegan Indian sweets at the end of the meal, which they explained were made using their mother's recipe. One was a date and nut sugar free square and the other was a Cashew nut marzipan.
Already our favourite Indian restaurant in Brighton!
Pros: clear vegan options, different dishes and flavours to try
Cons: In an ideal world, it would all be vegan!
