Decent Food, overrated

Same as Ethos: overrated place because it's in a touristic area.
The food is decent, prices are fair, but there are many better restaurants in Bangkok.

NUMBER 89 IS THE TASTIEST SHIZZLE

Holy guacamoly, would have never expected such amazing food there! Minimalistic place, with amazing amazing food! Fresh and tasty, I could have bathed in the curry (I think number 89 haha) I had! (I'm 99% sure I licked the plate) definitely try their brown rice, it's just so good!

Definitely go there! It's worth spending the extra buck! and in comparison to other vegan places in BK it's still on the price-friendlier end! love it - super nice staff too (; felt very welcome

Pros: DELICIOUS AF, GOOD PORTION SIZE, FAIR PRICE FOR WHAT YOU GET

Cons: little pricier than streetfood OF COURSE BUT GO GO, seriously I loved it

Probably the best restaurant with fresh food in Bangkok!

This place is amazing! The variety of dishes is extraordinary, the food is so fresh and well-spiced and the venue is giving you a zen feeling with its minimalistic interior and calm music. After coming here for the first time, we came back almost every night during our stay in Bangkok! Definitely worth a visit (or two)!

Pros: fresh ingredients, great variety of dishes, minimalistic, air conditioned location

Cons: a bit more pricey - but definitely worth it!, a bit too strong AC - you might wanna bring a swea

super delicious!

Been here two days in a row now, their Buddha Salad is so amazing and VERY much worth the 185 bath they charge (trust me... for what you get it is cheap!!!)

Left before we even ordered

We were ready to order when the owner/manager moved us to the back of the room where we were in the smallest space in a tiny little cramped corner.
They had some sort of photoshoot going on and clearly wanted us out of the way. We felt very disrespected and left immediately.
Value your customers a bit more!

Cons: Overpriced food that you can get on the street for

Our Go-To Vegan Spot in Khao San Road

We can’t stop going to this spot also cos it’s near our hotel. Their service is great they serve the food for me and my fiancé at the same so there is no need for us to wait for the other to get his/her order. Place is clean and peaceful but too bright for when the sun goes down. Quite pricey for what it is but I still keep coming back. 😜

Pros: good service and food and music, clean, peaceful

Cons: quite pricey for what it is, strong lighting

Excellent food

We found this place by accident walking around and got very happy for founding a vegetarian restaurant. It's a small place with a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. Almost all the dishes were vegan and only a very few had eggs and milk in them. There were lots of different dishes on the menu with both thai and western food. The food was very simple and tasty.

Seriously Overrated

I’m very confused why this place has such good reviews. The place is unauthentic and the food tastes bland and boring. All the dishes we ordered had a lot of beans in them, and they were all very undercooked. I think there are much better places to eat at in Bangkok.

huge disappointment

When I tried to order, they kept saying they ran out of ingredients, the stuff had no idea about dishes and my pad ew was bland with huge pieces of raw vegetables and few chickpeas that were so bitter that they were inedible.

Best Restaurant Salad I've Ever Had!

I am a low-fat raw vegan 99% of the time and finally I found a salad from a restaurant that is almost the size of what I'd make it home. Not only was the tempeh salad the biggest I've had from a restaurant but it also had fruit which gives much more calories and juiciness that one needs when you aren't relying on oil dressing to fill. Also I had forgotten to tell them not to cook the tempeh yet it was not oily and was the best tempeh I've ever had also! So happy to have experienced this place. The smoothie was good too. They put unrefined coconut sugar in and was a little too sweet for my liking yet the consistency was perfect.

Pros: Great salad portion. Good portions in general., Option to sit on cushion on ground., BEST tempeh.

Vegan paradise

Everything was really good, the space is very cosy and they have a great variety of vegan options from starters to dessert. Lots of gluten free options as well. As for drinks they offer a variety of kombuchas and fresh juices. I will have to come back for dessert since they do big portions

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Good location

Cons: not as cheap as street food

delicious!

We visited Mango on a Saturday night and it was the perfect refuge from Khao San Road - we sat Thai style and ordered dishes to share (pad Thai, pad see ew, massaman curry and Tom yum soup) all came out quickly and were really tasty! Perhaps not as overly flavourful as we would have liked, I would recommend asking for more spice if you like hotter food (perhaps they kept it low key as we were all westerners) - they don’t sell alcohol anymore so don’t go expecting a beer with dinner! Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in this part of Bangkok!

Pros: inexpensive, fresh food

Cons: no alcohol

Spectacular all around!!

We aren’t used to such an extensive menu to choose from with so many vegan and vegetarian friendly options! Their drink menu is equally as wonderful. For our 3 days in Bangkok we returned to this restaurant 3 times, wish we could’ve gone more! Highly recommend the soups and juices/smoothies in particular, but everything we ordered was spectacular! Huge selection of homemade kombucha as well.
This place is a must if you are in Bangkok and a vegan/vegetarian or health-conscious

Amazing extensive and healthy vegan and veg menu

We took awhile choosing from their menu as we're quite used to having smaller menus to choose from. Everything on it looked amazing and their drinks menu is equally extensive.
We opted for the glass noodle tom yum soup which was delish with fresh veg and tasty broth, looks small but was filling. We also had the stir fried red curry with veg gyoza, wowee the flavour was incredible and the gyoza were a taste bonus! We also had some tasty edamame too. Service was very friendly and the environment was lovely and calming playing relaxing instrumental music. We're already planning our return!

Great restaurant

Super delicious, most is vegan.

There were a lot of cats in the restaurant. So no good place to go if you are allergic to cats...

Pros: lot of vegan choices

Cons: cats
