Cute place

Went for lunch. Good few vegan options and good drinks choices. Unfortunately had no tofu so had Hummus Buddha bowl instead. Was nice and even gave more bread.

Mandala Society was my go to in Marrakesh

Mandala Society was my go to while I stayed in Marrakech for a month. I was cooking my own food, but when I wanted something different I went to Mandala many times. The plates that can be made vegan are: Tofu Wok, Hummus Budha Bowl, Tofu Quinoa Amlou Salad , Avocado Toast, Amlou Banana Toast, and the salty Board for two (request to remove omelet and cheese). For all of the dishes above they come with boiled egg, so make sure to request with no egg or say the plate name and that you want it vegan. They also have great juices. My favorite was the purple. They have cold tea, hot tea, coffee, and latte options ( matcha!). They don't have vegan desert.

Mandala was a great find! I recommend 100%!

Pros: Many vegan options , Very nice people and easy to request vegan option, A break from couscous and vegetables

Cons: On the expensive side for Morocco , Make sure to ask to make it vegan, Always check if the plate has egg

Nice spot, pricey but good quality

This place was out of tofu when I went so a bit disappointing. You would also assume sourdough would be vegan but apparently the edges are cooked in butter before they receive the bread. If possible speak with Sasha as she is an anglophone and knows very well what is vegan and what isn't. The coffee was excellent and I highly recommend the chia pudding. The avo toast on crackers was pretty bland (plus crackers got soft under the avo - would make more sense to serve them on the side, like chips and guac). Plus their only hot sauce is quite spicy even for someone who regularly eats spicy. Would have liked to have tried the tofu wok but that'll have to be for next time. One thing they have going for them is they have stuff on their menu that's generally hard to find in Morocco (e.g. tofu and non-dairy milks)

Pros: Some vegan options , Great coffee

Cons: Pricey for Morocco

Great food, knowledgeable servers, and overall brilliant atmosphere

Our server was extremely knowledgeable on what veganism is and how to adapt the menu to make the veggie options vegan. The general vibe and atmosphere was really nice. The decor is brilliant and the rooftop views are also pretty cool! We had the wok tofu which was really flavoursome and the quesadilla which again was really enjoyable and flavoursome! We also had an iced latte with almond milk (first time we have seen alternative milk in Marrakech). It’s a brunch place so is only open till 5:30pm (be aware of this). Would definitely recommend! All of the staff and the manager are super helpful and they also sell some clothes upstairs which are made in Marrakech.

Pros: 2/3 vegan options available (ask for no cheese), Alternative milks available (almond and soya)
