Fantastic vegan options - Edit
This is my favourite restaurant in the area, possibly even in Sardinia! I love the vibe of Mama Beach and the location is just perfect. It's great for popping in after a day on the beach, or for spending time having food and drinks with friends. The daytime menu runs until early evening- 7 I think- and has vegan options. The poke bowl is great. This menu is more limited but cheaper than the evening menu. The evening menu also has vegan options, but honestly I prefer the daytime menu choices. This is definitely somewhere I would recommend to fellow vegans, as it can be difficult to get good vegan food in Sardinia and this is a real gem.

Read moreYou can already order some breakfast panini and burger at the bar in the morning. The restaurant with lunch menu opens at 12:30pm.
We got the vegan Gnocchi and the filled zucchini.
The Gnocchi were really good. The Zucchini was okay. Though the portion sizes were a bit small.
The atmosphere is really nice here. Right at the beach and super cozy. Great place to spend a day on the beach and get delicious food.

Vegane Gerichte auf der Karte - Edit
Ordentlich geführtes Restaurant mit einigen klar deklarierten veganen Gerichten auf der Karte zu fairen Preisen. Ich hatte einen Burger, der lecker war. Tagsüber gibt es eine Barkarte und abends eine Karte für das Restaurant / Abendessen. Zum Abendessen gibt es sogar ein ganzes veganes Menü (beides eine Seltenheit auf Sardinien).
Read moreWichtig zu wissen (was ich erst spät gesehen habe): es werden lebende Hummer zu Kochzwecken im Aquarium gehalten. Muss jeder für sich wissen, ob er das toleriert. Ich denke, dass dies Standard in der sardinischen Esskultur sein wird. Rein vegane Restaurants gibt es als Alternative leider nicht.

Romantic, Posh and Quaint - Edit
The location is on the beach. You get a lovely view of the ocean and the passing yachts. They have a full vegan menu page and sides to choose from. They do not indicate if any of their wines are vegan. The atmosphere is pleasant, especially at night. They make effort in food presentation. Portions are big.

But the menu was super limited and portions were small. I ordered the spinach and it literally 5 little piles of wilted spinach on a plate for 12 euros. Felt disappointing. Beautiful location though.

We ordered ravioli and a dish with zuchini. The ravioli were edible, but really nothing of special for that price. Zucchini dish was stale, bland and not even heated up properly. We wouldn’t eat there again.

Favorite of the trip! - Edit
Great food, good service, knowlegable servers and beautiful ambiance just on the beach. Three vegan dishes specifically marked on the menu and fruit desserts that were also vegan. Everything I had was so good, I went back the next night. Could not recommend more highly, this place is a must of you are vegan!

Visited towards the end of our holiday - wished we had gone earlier! Has a Vegan section to the menu, as well as other vegetarian options. The Courgettes stuffed with Seitan was fantastic - both taste and how it was presented. More expensive than most other places we'd eaten at, but quality of food was completely different to the typical pizzeria in the region, so at €56 for 3 of us, including drinks, I think it was good value.

We had a fantastic dinner at Mamabeach Restaurant. We had a pizza vegetarians (just order it without cheese), vegan Ravioli (they have some special vegan menu listed with each 3 options), green salat, fruit salat and an espresso. Prices are a bit higher as elsewhere, but worth it regarding the fresh, tasty food and ambiente next to the beach/beachview. The interior decoration is perfect having a lovely dinner (and lunch). Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Were there today and had the vegan ravioli and some roasted potatoes. The ravioli were good. The portion size is smaller that the non-vegan meals but it was enough. 2x ravioli, 1x potatoes and 2 drinks 50€, so it was quite expensive. The staff, was ok.
