Expensive but tasty

Located in the same mall as Ippudo Ramen. It is really loud and busy inside. Staff spoke some English. Several vegan options are available including gyozas. Free water too. Not the best Chinese food ever but it was still tasty, nothing special though. Portions were a bit small for the price. Would come back only if there were no other options nearby.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Expensive

Overpriced and disappointing

I was really excited to see the vegan options at Mama Huhu, and patiently waited for our meals to arrive. But to say that they were underwhelming was a big understatement. The portions were really small, and the flavor was just okay. But when we looked around, the prices were 2-3 times the prices of larger similar non-vegan items around. No reason to go back again.

meh if you are used to quality Chinese

seems only Americans find it good? also found it a big deception, regret not going to Ippudo a couple of minutes away

Pros: there's a few vegan options?

Cons: taste worse than chain stores, expensive, not worth the price

Tasty vegan food

We came across there by accident, we saw the big letters of the word VEGAN, so we gave it a try and were not disappointed! We had the mapo tofu (spicy for me), the Ramen and steamed gyoza. Everthing was really good. Nice staff and of course free water.

Pros: Mapo tofu, Gyoza, Price

Not recommended

We gave it a try, but the chilli soy meat wasn't even spicy and had two pieces of soy meat, the "spicy" dan dan noodles were in a broth we didnt like so we pretty much returned the entire bowl. Very mediocre / okay / disappointing. Gyoza were alright. 2 mains 1 gyoza side 2 soft drinks vost us 5560 yen! I don't think I've ever returned food before but here we are :(

Meh

The spicy option was not spicy at all. Really disappointed. Fried Gyoza was okay, filled with mushrooms.
The DanDan Noodles was oily and because of that the "close to no flavor" broth didn't really stick on the noodles so I felt like eating only noodles with no taste.

If you come for Gyoza it might be okay.

Pros: Gyoza

Cons: Not the expected taste

Okay food, expensive

The food was not awful, but not great, was okay, but a bit expensive for just an okay meal.
It is in a very convenient area, inside Lumine in Shinjuku, and was nice that they have a vegan menu, but think the food needs improvement, even more if it gonna be expensive.

Staff was a bit everywhere

Very classic Chinese food. Not much to say. Nothing special, but tasted fine.
Staff seemed a bit confused and they were always around without really paying attention.

They do have a vegan menu

Food is not the best, but it is ok mall food. I appreciate them having an entire vegan menu. I am willing to try it again. Their tofu was very well done, maybe I need to try the mapo tofu instead. The dish I had tasted like the standard vegan choice at Ootoya, where you pay one third of the price.

I am a bit skeptical of the soup that comes with set, it smelled a little fishy.

Prices for vegan sets are around the same price for non-vegan sets, so that is a pluss.
