Big meal to juggle

I had the large vegan version of the "Mama Vege" which included a choice of sweet and savoury items and beverages (available lunch only). First was a pot of English brekkie tea with almond milk which was fine then they brought me a croissant and jam which I queried about butter as an ingredient (I was right) so they replaced with slices of a seeded bread and apricot jam. That was OK then came the plate of hash browns, fried mushrooms, yummy grey lentils and baked beans, etc. The plate was so large i was juggling to keep everything on my side of the table. They let me swap the orange juice for a detox juice which was great but rather small. The "fruit salad" was really diced apples with a few pineapple pieces. (In Noumea a "green salad" is just one type of lettuce leaves with olive oil or vinaigrette). Overall, the meal was fine, service was a bit sloppy but friendly, the waiter spoke good English and they have menus available in English. Seating is on an open verandah overlooking a park with large shady trees. It's expensive, as is the case throughout Noumea, but the total meal was larger than most local meals for the price.

Pros: Ample servings, tasty and healthy, Pleasant park location, friendly, casual, English-speaking staff, English menu available

Awesome brunch

We had the Mama Vege which came with lentil salad, ratatouille, tomato, mushrooms, hash brown, fruit salad and french bread. An epic amount of food for the price - Noumea is quite expensive

Coupled with an oat milk latte
