I had been waiting for an opportunity to visit Mallow since it first opened, as I’m a big fan of Mildred’s. I got the rainbow root pavé, persian lime butterbeans, tahini cream, which was absolutely incredible.

Great place in the historic Borough Market. It has a very interesting menu. I think flavours could be a little bit more punchy but in general it was a great experience!

Sono appena tornato da Parigi, dove trovare una crème brûlé vegana è un’impresa titanica. Qui nel centro di Londra invece mallo offre una Creme Brulee veramente buonissima, cremosa con lo zucchero croccante sopra e una cialda, il tutto circondato da uno sciroppo di ciliege con delle ciliegine che ci stanno benissimo. Il locale è davvero carino e il personale gentile.

Read moretimes. I love their brunch! For dinner I’ve tried various plates - some of them I really enjoyed and others not. The croquettes are always amazing, I really liked the tempeh noodles which I think are not on the menu anymore. The vegan chicken burger is also amazing. Last time I went I also
ordered torteloni which I found a bit bland. The market thali is also very good!

Been here twice this week, once on my own and then the next day with non vegan work colleagues.
Read moreFirst time they fitted me in, despite the place being rammed already. Food was gorgeous and the staff busy but very friendly.
Second time was pre booked so less hectic. Again, food was great and the staff impeccable.
Also, the prices are reasonable for fairly central London and the big windows overlooking the beautiful Southwark Cathedral are a bonus.
If you want a treat then try the creme brûlée… unbelievable, with my colleagues very impressed!

The staff were so kind and friendly. The drinks were delicious, the food was absolutely heavenly! Came here with my non-vegan friends and they loved it too! Will definitely be back soon :)

This small but cosy restaurant serves up some very delicious food with a wide variety of tastes displayed in its dishes. Their entrees were varied in palates and tasty and the mains were hearty and very flavoursome. Lovely cocktails also!

Read more4 stars because my order was lost and took much longer to receive. And I waited an additional almost 45 minutes for a dessert that was actually sold out… my waiter added the dessert to my bill, but he disappeared and I never saw him again.
But honestly the food was great. I’ll be back next time I’m in London.😄

mallow is a bit expensive but 100% worth the price. i wish this restaurant was near where i live! i recommend making a reservation beforehand, or you can just eat at the bar if your party is small enough and they have the space.

I split a “chicken burger” and it was the greatest vegan burger I have ever had. The most complex, beautiful, balanced flavors and presentation.
Read moreIt is very expensive, more of a sit down place, and 80% of the time you need a reservation; but after trying it, i’d say it’s 100% worth it. You pay more there, but the flavors and quality are top top notch. It’s also right next to the market which has loads of nice vegan stands.
If you want a more upscale vegan eating experience, with amazing food, this is the place.
Pros: Great area, Amazing flavor, Can pay bill via QR code

We ate at Mallow last night, it's a lovely building, beautifully decorated with lots of attentive staff ... I had a thali which was really tasty, my husband had a chicken burger which was very soggy (too much mayo and coleslaw within the bun) and was cold, he sent it back and a second took a long time to come back and was only just warm. Not ideal.

This place was right across the street from me and I needed a break from walking all around Southbank. The ambiance was so nice. We had no reservation but we were able to sit at the bar.

One of my favourite places - Edit
They’ve only been around a year which is incredible to think as they have nailed the dining experience in one. The location is A1, inviting entrance, lovely staff, comfy seats and a cool vibe. The food is great, we went for a party so tried lots and all my none vegan friends so everyone apart from my wife and I loved it.

Mallow Dinner review - Edit
Mallow is a great spot near London Bridge for vegan food. I ordered the laksa with noodles and it looked and tasted great, and all of their dishes look to be very high quality with good quality ingredients to match. A really nice 100% plant based restaurant in the heart of London and would recommend multiple visits to try different dishes.
