Upon entering, you are warmly greeted with a friendly smile at the reception. If you have made a reservation, you’re quickly seated. The dishes served are bursting with delectable flavors and taste incredibly fresh. I was particularly impressed with my server, Matt, who went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was truly enjoyable!

What a great find. It’s tucked in the corner of the bustling borough market, just far enough away from the crowds, but still feels like you’re in the midst of the action. It’s beautifully decorated (although the plants are clearly fake) and the service is excellent. I went for a solo lunch and sat at the bar-style seating where I had the pleasure of watching the chefs prep while I ate.
Read moreThe food was superb. They use ingredients so creatively. The celeriac dish was my favourite, so flavourful and unique. I ordered two small plates and a flatbread, and it was more than enough.
Atmosphere is classy and bordering fine dining. It’s not a place to grab a lunch in a hurry (although the food came out quickly, it deserves slow enjoyment). Perfect place for a date, catch up with friends or colleagues.
My bill came to £36 which included two small plates, a side and a cider. And tip.
Can’t wait to visit again.

Read moreThe mains we got were disappointing for the price - lasagne 6/10 pure stodge (overcooked? it was like a block of pasta not sheets) but nice garlic sauce, noodles 7/10 needed salt and the leek was a weird combo imo, sweet potato was delicious though.
Their hot chocolate, beetroot juice, and sticky toffee pudding, however, were outstanding !! And the white bean hummus with flat bread was lovely.

If you like Mildreds, chances are you will also like Mallow as both chains offer the same type of cuisine: spicy, sophisticated, innovative and full of flavours. I really liked the starters, they were amazing. As per the mains, we went for the only 2 gluten-free options available and they were not my jam but that's very personal feedback and it doesn't take away the quality of the meal.

I recently dined again at Mallow in London Bridge (after having visited the Canary Wharf branch a few times) and was as always very pleased with my experience there! We had the Taste of Mallow menu (lots of sharing plates) and a third friend had the burger. The menu is packed with creative, plant-based dishes that deliver on flavour and presentation. Each dish was vibrant, fresh, and beautifully plated, with unique combinations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed yet upscale experience. Friendly service added to the whole experience, making it a fantastic spot for anyone looking to explore innovative vegan cuisine in the city. Highly recommend!

Read moreI didn’t love the orange flavour in the chocolate pudding and would have loved a warning about it on the menu, but otherwise a lovely meal and experience.
Nov 2022 review: The waiters were incredibly attentive and helpful and the decor was really lovely.
I had the Thali and honestly didn’t really like any aspect of it. My friends shared the small plates between them and loved it so perhaps I just got a bad plate but it was too spicy, yet not flavourful.
The dessert I had, ginger sticky toffee pud, was really nice. However the whole meal was just a bit too expensive for what we got and the taste couldn’t live up to the price tag.

My goodness, Mallow exceeded already high expectations. The pani puri starter was an event in itself: creative and the flavours are fantastic. The jambalaya main was filling and gorgeous. The popadoms and sauce are sublime. The place is comfortable and stylish yet unpretentious. Love love love.

More than enough! We were stuffed!
Courses followed swiftly.
Only minus was the 'charcoal toast', which was ... very hard, like charcoal 😄😄
And it wasn't really warm in the room and there was a lot of noise from nearby building construction works, but they cant help that.
Friendly service.
An 'optional' service charge of 12,5% is automatically added to the bill.
Toilets are upstairs. Very clean. (love the tiles!!). Didnt see an accessible toilet.
