We went here for Saturday brunch for a friends birthday yesterday. The whole experience was just superb. Our waiter was attentive and helpful offering suggestions. The Thali was spot on and very filling. No room for pudding. Would suggest to book a table in advance.

Fantastic food at a fantastic restaurant - Edit
After dining at Mildred's earlier in the week for dinner, we decided to try mallow for lunch. When we arrived early for our reservation, we were told that lunch is the best time because it is much less crowded and it's the same menu as dinner.
Read moreWe ordered the dumplings and tempura fungi for starters, which were both excellent. I had the old fashioned, which was tasty, but the portion seemed a bit small. Maybe that's a London thing?
For our mains, I had the market thali, which was great, but not enough flatbread! I overheard someone at another table ask for more, but I had finished by that time. =( Hubby had the buttermilk plant chik'n burger and he was disappointed that it wasn't crispy, but hard and dry.
Dessert was the banana pudding, which again, was excellent. We didn't buy the Mildred's cookbook then, but now looking on Amazon!
We will definitely go back the next time in London to try other things on the menu.

Had the chikn burger and the crème brûlée both of which were very tasty. You get what you pay for- the flavors are brilliant and the quality of ingredients is obviously very high. Do yourself a favor and go😄

Mallow raises the standard for plant-based restaurants on every aspect. The food is mind blowing, the atmosphere is classy but laid-back, the staff is friendly. Pretty much how you would like every vegan restaurant to be. Five stars plus.

Mallow was founded by the same people as Mildred’s I think, but it is SO MUCH BETTER. What stands out is that their staff are a lot friendlier. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food so tasty.

Can’t rate this place highly enough. Went there Sat before the Taylor Hawkins Tribute concert & I was blown away by the amazing menu. I ordered from the Brunch menu & even that was rammed with amazing food choices. All our dishes were incredibly &tasty as [censored]! Defo can’t wait to go back there. Food is incredible. Easily 5/5 stars!

Enjoyed a nice early dinner here. Had the thali and blackberry millefeuille. The naan was a bit too greasy but everything was delicious otherwise.

Everything we had was outstanding.
The service was excellent, the interior is lovely, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
If there's a place in London you shouldn't miss, it's Mallow.

Brilliant experience - Edit
I had a brilliant meal here with my family. Their food is unique and very tasty. I loved all of the dishes that I had. They were also great with allergens; my Mum has coeliac disease. The menu was well labelled and the waitress took us through the dishes as well. She even went to talk to the chef to check something for us. Highly recommended to anyone in London looking for a fancy feeling vegan meal.

Very disappointing food - Edit
Unfortunately the burger was unappetising and the root fries hard and inedible. I also couldn't finish the chocolate dessert which is very unusual for me! Staff were warm and friendly, but I left hungry and had to go to Pret to fill up afterwards. I won't be returning, sadly.

Lovely restaurant 4 1/2 stars - Edit
This is a lovely restaurant in the borough market area. We ordered the v’duja croquettes to start with. They were very tasty on their own and with the sauces. I had a pink citrus spritz mocktail and it was really fresh and tasty. For my main, I had the artichoke with potato pave. It was nice and I really liked the sauces, but perhaps the potato pave could have had more sauce on it and a bit more flavour. My partner had the thali and really enjoyed it. I tried the dhal and it was delicious. I ordered the crème brûlée for dessert and it was so creamy and smooth. The flavour blended well. My partner had the chocolate and raspberry s’mores tart and he liked it.

Went on a Tuesday evening and the food was good but took a really long time to arrive. Staff were apologetic about the delays. Starters were better than mains so I would get several small plates instead if I visit again. Lime meringue pie was amazing!

Really enjoyed my food here, a slightly more upmarket take on Mildreds (all dishes ~£1 more expensive!). My friend and I had the thali and tempeh noodle salad which were great portions but other dishes looked a bit on the small side!
