Vegan tacos

I was at a convention in San Diego and this place was very close by. Really flavorful & delicious vegan tacos but messy. Would definitely go back as there are a lot of options.

Pros: On the water, Great views

Limited, but good options.

Visited SD for the day for my daughter’s bday and she chose Malibu Farms. Great choice the location was nice with views of the water and people watching.

She ordered the vegan chopped salad and I had the mushroom wrap. We each got a craft cocktail to celebrate the day.

I tried a bite of her salad, the beets were coked well and the dressing was good. Solid choice for a v option. I would highly suggest the mushroom wrap. This was incredibly flavorful and served super hot. Really delicious. Salad dressing on the lettuce on the side would have need good.

Service was good location was nice. #Veganuary

Pros: Good options, Fun location, Excellent cocktails

Cons: Parking is pay lot

Paying a higher price for the location too.

Delicious food with a view

Lots of delicious vegan options. We sat out on their upper level deck that had a great view of the water.

Coconut curry with tofu is so good

I am impressed by the flavor and freshness of the vegetables—broccoli, asparagus, green beans, bell peppers and onions—and tender tofu cubes, served in a shallow oval bowl of yellow coconut curry and a small mound of quinoa rice and shredded carrot bits. This entree is a wonderful combination of taste, color and texture. My table faced the calming view of sailboats gliding across the bay.

Pros: Fresh and flavorful ingredients , Postcard view of the bay, Pleasant service

Cons: Few vegan options

Nice atmosphere, food was just ok

Lovely spot on the bay with good choices for vegans. Had a great atmosphere so I gave it a try, even though it was a little pricey.

I asked for extra tofu in my curry and they gave me a very skimpy portion. It was aesthetic enough, but I left hungry. The matcha passionfruit lemonade was good, and the service was good, so there were enough redeeming qualities to warrant 3 stars.

Pros: Atmosphere

Cons: Cost, Portion size was small, Not enough tofu, even though I requested extra

Nice choice of vegan options

Many places have one vegan option to get on the happy cow list. This place had many thought starters, wraps, and main dishes that were vegan and many gluten free. The venue overlooks the San Diego bay and is well maintained upscale diner-ish type restaurant. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The two dishes we had were delicious. We will be going back every time we visit San Diego.
