ML - Edit
I absolutely love the vegan croissant. I like this option because I can bring non-vegans here who won’t complain…it’s a win-win.😄

Where did mont-blanc go? - Edit
Came here with high hopes of having another vegan Mont Blanc, which I’ve tried at another of their locations in the past. Turns out they didn’t have any. Also, when I asked the staff if they had anything vegan, they looked very confused and didn’t seem to know. I went for a chausson aux pommes and an apple tart, which were labeled as vegan, but the chausson aux pommes tasted hella suspiciously buttery. Not sure I’ll be back unless I can see the Mont Blancs through the window.

I had a vegan montblanc today at Landemaine rue Lecourbe. They switched to the winter cakes, they had a wonderful strawberry cake until a few weeks ago, but at first I only saw the pear entremets (that is delicious), at least until today. About the chausson aux pommes, I had it a few times and it's surely vegan for what I know. It's strange that the staff wasn't aware of the vegan options, must be new to the shop. I often go to Landemaine bakeries when I have one nearby, everything is tasty and it's the only "normal" bakeries in Paris having several vegan options.

Edit: I asked for a vegan chausson aux pommes yesterday at Landemaine Lecourbe and they told me they are now selling the non vegan version.

Ah, that’s a shame. My butter radar was going off when I tried it - I’m willing to bet they accidentally used the vegan label in the display.

I had the chausson aux pommes a couple of times, a while ago. It didn't taste buttery, but they probably switched back to the non vegan version without updating the label.
Read moreFor those who ate the entremet poire pécan recently, just like i did, bad news : last week I wanted to buy one and I noticed it was not labelled vegan anymore. The guy told me it never was vegan, but they had a wrong information, so they've been selling a non vegan pastry as vegan.

wonderful way to start a typical school day - Edit
maison landemaine had some really affordable, and delicious vegan croissants. it is a chain, so there are a few, and there was one near my flat on the way to university. i would stop in, pull out a coin or two, grab a quick croissant and be on my way. so easy, and so nice! it was vegan, but you definitely couldn't tell! so good! occasionally i would treat myself to a nice desert, they had some fruit tarts and cakes that were vegan and sometimes in rotation!

Delicious, but not labelled - Edit
Vegan pastries are not clearly labelled like it says in the description. However, I asked the woman serving me and she pointed out 3 of them to me right off the bat. They taste delicious!!!! Relatively inexpensive, probably because it's a chain

Best vegan croissant in Paris - Edit
It's amazing to see omni places offer vegan options. I tried their croissant and apple pastry, both were amazing. The croissant was the best I had in Paris (compared to two other places).

Vegan options - Edit
Went around 8 am and they had an Apple turnover (not what it was called) and a croissant that was vegan. Picked up some bread as well. The pastries were tasty. I had been staying in places with no vegan bakeries up to this point, so I was very happy to have two choices here

Disappointed - Edit
Went over at breakfast time hoping to score a cup of coffee with soya (or any plant-based) milk and there was nothing. No vegan options in the case and no plant milks for coffee.
