Vegan tacos

I had the vegan tacos with Beyond Meat, they were very nice (so nice I forgot to take a picture)

Pros: Several vegan options , Nice quality , Nice cocktails aswell

Happy vibes + food

Okay, so the service at MaiMai is about 10🌟; very obliging, generous and funny - it felt like hanging out with friends. I went for yoga and brunch, a combination that they offer on Saturdays, and I liked both the class and the available food options. The açaí bowl came packed with fresh fruits, the fresh orange juice was refreshing and their cuidaja smoothie is perfect for hot summer days.

Tasty and lovely atmosphere

I love the vegan tacos and the nachos with vegan sobrasada. Juices are amazing.

Accidentally ate MEAT :‘(

I clearly ordered vegan nachos.. but after 6 years of veganism i ate meat for the firs time(one bite) I was shocked and Grossed out!. I asked the staff again and yes it apparently was an accident.. I should have been more paranoid when it arrived and asked more times but I really thought it was enough to order the vegan thing to get the vegan thing :‘(

After this Happened at first I just wanted to go.. but I got a new portion and this time it was really vegan (my Omni partner tried them for me to be sure this time!!) and they were good.

Can’t say i enjoyed any of that experience..

Well what I learned: I need to be the paranoid vegan to be sure to get what I ordered😡

So guys better say „vegan“ 2 more times so you don’t have this happen. But I really hope this was a once and never again accident! I am sure I was really unlucky…but I just wanted to be honest here.

really tasty!!

was so tasty!! i got the vegan burger, vegan nachos and patatas bravas- which i don’t think was vegan,, all of it was really good! would happily go again☺️☺️ the sangria is also really good:))

Great vegan choices

This is a really nice beach bar but gets very busy it seems popular with locals. I had tacos and sweet potato fries and my partner had a burger. They had some spesh looking vegan nachos too

Pros: Fair vegan selectio

Cons: Gets busy, go early!

I‘n not coming back

Attention: Some foods are only served at certain times.

I first wanted to order the Vegan Kaiser Burger, but they only serve that past 8pm.
Then I went for the only vegan option, which were the vegan nachos. (I wasn‘t mad at first because I read good things about those here on Happy Cow)

But oh boy that was a dissapointment.
I think they didnt serve me vegan nachos, because the cheese or fake cheese was too identical. The staff didnt speak english and seemed very stressed.

The nachos were LOADED with a lot of Guacamole, a lot of „home made vegan creamcheese“, a lot of „hopefully vegan cheese alternative“ and a lit of „hopefully vegan cheddar alternative“. I couldnt eat like a fifth if the nachos and I felt sick.

Cons: Staff not fluent in english, Certain foods only at certain times

Fantastic experience

This place is beautiful! The ambience, the cozy surf and beach style layed back decor and the happy vibes amongst guests snd waiters … but the BEST part was the Food. I had the vegan nachos to share with my friend and cannot describe How Yummi they were. Definitely a must try. I then had the vegan poke bowl with tofu and it was really dekicious as well. Lovely flavored and the crunch from crispy roasted onions added a nice twist.

Pros: Fantastic food, Great ambience, Nice place to enjoy some time

You MUST try the Nachos!

The Nachos Veganos are sooo delicious!! This is a very cute place with a nice view and very friendly staff

Pros: Delicious dishes, Super friendly staff, Nice view

I had a bowl, it was delicious but I think it could have been a bit bigger. Nice location by the sea and decorations.

Nice vegan options

I've had the veggie burger (which probably wasn't vegan because of the sauce and dip for the sweet potato fries) and it was veeery tasty.

Pros: A couple of vegan options available, nice location on the seaside, friendly staff

Quality food, great atmosphere in front of the sea

I have been twiced in a week at Maimai Surf Bar! there are some incredibly tasty vegan&veggie options marked on the menu (in Spanish, Catalanish, English). I recommend the vegan nachos!!!! go there with a previous reservation (because covid) and enjoy with your friends a couple of hours there, with good music and good vibes!
