Great location - Edit
EDIT: since our last visit, there are fewer vegan options (no more ulu poke bowl!) so I am dropping the review from 4 to 3 stars. Its proximity to the beaches (no other decent places nearby) is great, and the prices aren't bad. Food was good, not fantastic. But sitting on the water and watching surfers battle the waves was simply amazing.
Read moreUlu, also known as breadfruit, is locally grown and is in a few of their vegan options. If you’ve never had ulu, it’s similar to a potato.
Although the menu is not marked, the server was knowledgeable. They made a vegan pasta dish on request.

Beachside Options - Edit
We’ve driven by this restaurant so many times and assumed it was just the Beach Snack Shack in front but it’s a really beautiful full service restaurant we were missing out on! We only had the brussels sprouts and ‘ulu hush puppies with local drinks but there were a few vegetarian mushroom and pasta dishes that we want to come back to try. Hard to go wrong with the beachside location so the atmosphere is perfect!

Cons: Can be long waits - make a reservation
