Serves meat, vegan options available. Small restaurant with beach vibes, next to the Surf Shop and close to B&B Oasis Colibri. Vegan dishes for breakfast include French toasts, burritos, fruit bowls and a vegan omelette. In the evening there are black-bean burgers with fries and vegan mayo, a sandwich and vegan pasta. Try the "aji" or some organic avocados from venue's own little finca. All the bread and sauces are house-made including the oat milk. Open Wed-Sun 8:00am-11:00am, 6:00pm-10:00pm. Closed Mon-Tues. May close randomly some days, check ahead.

Fav brunch spot - Edit
Perfect place to get a refreshing smoothie bowl (the Magic Bliss) is amazing!! We’ve also tried their falafel wraps and French toast. Everything is good but the smoothie bowls are a must!

Excellent place - Edit
At first I get confused because the place is running for other people and serve different options. I was so glad to realize Mariana is still in Mompiche just in front of la cotona. Her place is called Madre Selva now, is a beautiful restaurant with a chill atmosphere. With lot of vegan and vegetarian option. I even got vegan pasta and lasagna was delicious!

Great little spot in the heart of Mompiche - Edit
Mariana does a wonderful job running her little cafe, with a great menu including vegan and gluten-free dishes. I've been to La Cotona a few times and the service is always delightful, the food is always delicious, the coffee is always fresh and hot, and everyone is always friendly.

Feel good vibes and good food 100% - Edit
We arrived to Mompiche super hungry for vegan options and were so happy to find Mariana and her delicious homemade food. My all-time favorite was the Burrito with aji, gives you all the power to discover the rainforest their little foundation "El Aullador" is protecting or to go surfing. The owners care about nature and organic food, be sure to taste some hot chocolate with self-made oatmilk (even if its not on the menu) and enjoy the sight of colibris eating their breakfast too :)
