When you taste this ice cream even when I put on a non-vegan hat, I truly and objectively think. Why do you need to use milk to enjoy this kind of glorious desert?
Read moreMy girlfriend took pistachio and Nutella and I took caramel and nociolla(kind of hazelnut).
The caramel has small chunks of caramel making it so good and the hazelnut is so delicate and combined well.
Maybe the best ice cream I've had in my life.
A must go if you are in Barcelona. Don't wate your time in any other ice cream. Seriously.

No me dió mucha confianza las respuestas de los que atienden con respecto a los productos que utilizan. Lo intentaron con la mejor intención pero me dijeron que usan oreo ( la oreo no es vegana en muchos países y tampoco me especificaron si allí lo era) y también Kinder bueno 🫣

Since learning about Madonna Vegan, we have tried on multiple occasions to try their ice cream - finally, we hit the jackpot!
Read moreWith limited opening hours (4pm to 10pm, Friday to Sunday) and only being open during Spring and Summer, you have to time your visit well, but it is worth it.
I had the violet ice cream and a scoop of cream flavour (nata) - both wonderful. They also have branches in Figureres (which we also tried) and Girona.
Sadly, if you arrive between end of October and mid-March, you’re likely to find them closed for the winter months.
Pros: Great range of flavours, Value for money , Excellent quality

The Best Vegan Ice Cream - Edit
We had the most amazing vegan ice-cream here. The range of flavours is eclectic and interesting - I had Cherry Cream and Straciatella. I don’t think I have had better ice-cream. The only issue with this place is the opening hours - as far as I can tell it currently only opens Fri/Sat/Sun from 4pm.

We were wandering around El Raval in the hope of vintage shopping, but hadn’t realised it was siesta time and most places were closed. Hot, sweaty and tired, we almost gave up before stumbling across Madonna. The ice cream is INCREDIBLE. Tastes just like normal ice cream. I was sooo thrilled. A must visit!

Read moreWe were met by a few warm and welcoming girls who were happy to answer our questions and let us try any flavor we wanted. Offering twenty flavors, the decision was difficult. Eventually, we decided on the Catalan creme, the Kojak (chocolate and cherries), and Nata (whipped cream).
The Catalan Cream, a creamy caramel-like gelato with pieces of caramelized cake, was divine. For any tourist, this should be a must because it is a local delicacy and hard to find vegan. The Kojak, tangy cherry gelato with dark chocolate swirls, was superb. The right balance of refreshing fruit and heavy dark chocolate taste. The Nata (another difficult vegan find) was like eating a bowl of frozen whipped cream--in a good way.
Madonna is a friendly neighborhood vegan gelateria offering world-class gelato.

Great selection of really creamy and flavorful gelatos, with some more unusual options (cotton candy, lavender, cinnamon) as well as familiar favorites. The person working when we went was super friendly, patient, and generous with the sample sizes. A great find and well worth making a visit to.

Read moreHonestly, it was the best ice-cream shop ever. They have SO MANY flavours, with great inspiring messages. The shop is little and quaint, nothing excessive. All ice cream flavours tasted so creamy and soft, sweet and fresh on a hot summer's day. All you want ice-cream to be.
We actually went there the next day again, since we wanted to try more flavours!
We have tried: smurf, violet, pistachio, cookie dough, crema catalana (like a "flan" sweet cake) and stracciatella.
All absolutely stunning. Cannot recommend this place enough.
