Vegetarian Indian restaurant with lots of vegan options. I went with a group and got a collection of appetisers to start (pani puri, samosa, and vegetable pakoda). Had palak kofta and saffron rice as my main - was extremely impressed to find an item with tofu on an Indian restaurant menu! Everything was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Adding this to my list of favourites in Barcelona.

One of the best Indian restaurants outside of India - Edit
We had lunch menu and it was excellent! Just tell them you are vegan and they adjust it. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly team. We enjoyed every minute! Highly recommend.

The food is very very good. At first the menu appears to be 50/50 vegan/vegetarian but they can make basically any dish vegan. The garlic nan is 10/10

The best veg place I've been to in Barcelona - Edit
I don't think there are many vegetarian or vegan places that can compete with Haldi in Barcelona. Their food is authentic and the flavours are like being back home India. If you want great flavours, authentic taste, and plenty of options which can be made vegan, certainly consider Haldi!

Arrived an hour before closing for dinner service. Happy to seat us. Waiter helped us with the vegan items on the menu and our choices. He made some excellent recommendations. Food was delicious and portions were a good size.

The food was pretty good, especially the cumin rice with the cumin bits giving a good texture and flavour. Its a tiny bit too expensive for the portion size which is the only reason i dont give 5 stars

I loved this place and I can't honestly wait to come back. They are knowledgeable about veganism and almost anything can be made vegan. We had Pani Puri and some curries and we loved everything!

As other people have said, tell the staff you're vegan. They are knowledgeable about veganism and they'll make most of the dishes vegan.

But I didn't wanna let that impact the review, since the quality of the dishes was excellent, service was good and prices fair.
If you don't mind going to el Rabal, then do yourself a favor and try it out.

Authentic Indian food - Edit
Authentic Indian spices and flavours in Barcelona. I am indian and have eaten the same flavours when in India. Most of the menu is vegan apart from 5 dishes. I had the biryani and veg madras curry. Both were fab!

Really authentic indian food - Edit
New vegetarian indian restaurant in raval. When you get in the waiter asks you if you are vegan or vegetarian to recomend you the best dishes for you. It is not marked on the menu but the waiter can tell you which dishes are vegan.
