The Best Coffee Place - Edit
The coffee beans are roasted at the right temperature and the aroma filling up the coffee house is amazing.
Read moreI had had my lunch and was simply looking for coffee when I found this place. I didn’t know they had vegan options, I wanted to try the food but didn’t get the chance. I had the flat white and it was good!!!!!!!!

Cosy place with yummy VG options - Edit
Madal Café has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere, which is a rare find in the city centre. It has plenty of vegan options, out of which I tried a croissant and a blackberry-mango cake. Both were fresh and delicious. The oatmylk latte was very aromatic, however, the portion could have been a bit bigger.

Lovely cafe but not really vegan friendly - Edit
A cafe that is very pleasant to sit in. The coffee is good with that in a small cup. We were disappointed that there were only a few vegan options and no vegan sandwiches, as advertised on the site.

Very nice coffee room. - Edit
A lot of vegan dessert options. Rice/oat milk choice. I had a baguette with grilled vegetable (790 forrints) like the only option for a vegan sandwich (dunno if they have sometimes anything else). Quite good but the aubergine and the zucchini could be more spiced. But the desserts..? 🤤🤤

Cute café, with amazing latte - Edit
At the perfect spot, very close to the bus and the metro station. I had an oat latte and the vegan salad. The vegan salad was 5 chunks of tofu on lettuce bed, with 2 cherry tomatoes and 5 slices of cucumber and a vinagrette sauce. But, the coffe was amazing. I’d love more vegan options other than the sweets.

Cons: Not many vegan lunch options, A little too much plastic

Great cafe for studying - Edit
Not everything here is vegan, but they usually have 1-2 plant based cakes/cheesecakes and some additional chocolatey plant based desserts. Everything is clearly labeled. There's a good amount of seating on the second floor that's good for studying or getting work done.

Great coffee and cake - Edit
One of the best places to get a cup of coffee with a piece of vegan cake/raw cake. Sometimes they have vegan croissants and things like tapioca pudding. Friendly staff and nice interior.

Great find with delicious food - Edit
Really enjoyed the vegan croissants I had from here. In a relatively un-vegan friendly city it was fab to find somewhere to grab some bits to keep me going whilst with some non-vegan friends

I enjoyed a delicious, sweet vegan muffin as well as a dirty Chai Latte on Oat milk. The atmosphere is very peaceful and friendly. I hope to visit again next time I’m in Budapest.

A great coffee shop for us - Edit
There are lots of coffee shops in Budapest. This one is exceptional because it has great coffee, (with oat or almond milk) fine ambiance, with indoor and outdoor seating and even vegan deserts.

nice food and atmosphere - Edit
We took some coffees, a chai latte with rice milk and two types of cakes. The chai latte was great and cakes nice but not amazing. We asked for the vegan sandwiches but they told us they told us they only had salad this day. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing coffee or for working.

Excellent coffee and cozy atmosphere - Edit
Tried the oat milk cappuccino and several of their cakes, everything is very tasty and the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. Ended up going there for coffee every day that we were in Budapest ☕️ My boyfriend tried nearly all of their teas and found them to be great. Would definitely recommend the carrot cake!
