I don’t think they have a menu. You just tell the owner what your needs are and he makes it for you! Returning from the trip to Abu Simbel, I was starving. I had a quick falafel sandwich in the morning packed for my 4am trip (breakfast is included when you stay) which tasted more herbal than other bean tasting ones and for lunch, I just reminded him I was vegan again to be sure and he said lunch would be ready in 30minutes. His mother prepared okra in tomato sauce, the rice and noodles dish, flat bread, and a beautiful, bright salad all in clay pots. I don’t know the names of any of the dishes, but they are all traditional foods. It cost 80EGP and the bread was cold, but everything else was really tasty and filling. Just what I needed on a hot day with lack of sleep.
