It’s not an entire 100% vegan place. But I really like cauliflower wings tho.

A bit average - Edit

Had my heart set on a pizza but they didn’t have any vegan cheese so that was disappointing.

Instead I had the lentil burger and the (oat) nuggets. The burger was ok but quite heavily spiced with Indian flavours which I wasn’t expecting. Think the falafel burger would have been better in hindsight.

Wish I had seen the reviews regarding the nuggets before ordering as they were pretty doughy and bland. Again, think the cauliflower bites would have been better in hindsight.

Also had an Estrella red beer which was an explosion of flavours. Similar to a michelada but lighter.

Have given four stars as there’s not many vegan options in zacatecas (in the evening) and at least they are trying. Nice vibe of the restaurant and friendly staff too.

As another review mentions, this is not a truly vegan restaurant anymore.

Estrella Red - very refreshing beer cocktail. Loads of chopped up tomatoes, cucumbers and I think mint at Lxs de Abajo in Zacatecas

Nuggets made with oats (recommend to avoid) at Lxs de Abajo in Zacatecas

Lentil burger. The few potatoes were good at Lxs de Abajo in Zacatecas

This is not a vegan place anymore - Edit

It was a bit confusing because we thought this was a 100% vegan place. It isn’t (anymore). They serve pizzas with meat and dishes with cow cheese. The “liberation for all” poster with the animals felt kinda misplaced now, when we asked about that the waitress laughed a bit awkwardly.
Anyway, about the food. The fries are good, even as the lemonades. The rest is pretty bad tho. The burgers are very dry, only served with a bit of lettuce, tomato, 3 slices of mushroom and a tiny bit of sauce. The bread is really dry and they did not had the almond cheese which was on the menu. The nuggets were really doughy tasteless oatmeal bites. You can tell that there isn’t put love and attention in the meals.
Really a shame because the atmosphere is really nice, it could be so much better.

This place offers a large choice of vegan food and everything is very tasty. Portions are huge at a very fair price. We had some cauliflowers wings that were delicious, some nuggets (more like meatballs actually) that were nice and tasty as well. Burgers are big and come with a few fries. We found them a bit too filling but still good. The place is very cute with a lot of plants and a very friendly atmosphere. The staff is nice.

Excellent falafel burger! - Edit

Great menu for veggies, and very reasonably priced. I had a falafel burger that was nothing short of outstanding, served with a few fries ($60MXN). Also had a house salad, which was much bigger than I expected and fresh ($48MXN). I'm a cycle tourist, so I have a big appetite, and this place hit the spot! Friendly, helpful staff. Nice vibe, linked to a gourmet coffee shop and craft beer bar downstairs. Highly recommended.
