Delicious lunch - Edit
On HappyCow this is the only vegan place in Chiayi so being here I ofcourse had to make my way to it. The people there were very friendly. I ordered a peanut tofu, wonton dumplings and a Japanese miso soup. Loved everything especially the wontons!

Read moreThe menu is not huge but everything I've tried has been pretty good, except (as noted by another reviewer) the peanut tofu which was pretty bland and had a kind of strange texture. Good dumplings, good noodles, good burger. And they sell a lot of vegan snacks, breads, and other goodies to take away.
It's small and it's a bit out of the way, but it's worth the trip.

Great local all vegan restaurant - Edit
The venue really appealed to me, simple local decor and construction but cleaner. Some cute kids were our servers and they often had to shout to mom to help answer our questions, it had a really great vibe. Not upscale at all, but good food at great prices in a relaxing environment.
Read moreWe got a little carried away ordering and ordered a lot of the menu. But prices are reasonable so it wasn't a peoblem. Nothing really blew us away taste-wise (I especially thought the peanut tofu was meh), but everything was tasty and you can't really go wrong with anything (well, maybe skip the peanut tofu and matcha latte). I really liked my fruit smoothie and the tempeh fried rice.
Also, the most important thing, they have a few vegan products for sale at the counter, including...vegan pineapple cakes!
Pros: Loved the whole experience

Great Fully Vegan Restaurant - Edit
One of the only vegan restaurants in Chiayi (maybe the only fully vegan one). A little far from the city centre however the food was really great and the owners were very friendly. They also sell items like wafers and Sou milk powder. Definitely recommend a visit. Got the Singapore Laksa Soup and it was great and very big!

Amazing cheap food!!! - Edit
We found this place and it was a vegan heaven!!! Food is SO tasty! The owner and we guess her father are really nice. She can speak a little bit English. Prices are really great. We went there twice and all dishes were good. We ordered once a burrito, a little bit scared cause it was in "light meal" but we weren't hungry after eating it and it was really original. Totally recommend this place!!!!!
