Vegetarian casual eatery serving mainly pan-Asian dishes with some western influence such as baked rice casseroles. On the menu are soups, soup noodles, pan-fried noodles, rice dishes, and mock meats. Dishes containing dairy are marked. English menu available. A 10-minute walk from Taipei Zoo MRT station - look for green signage. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:00pm, 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Good student food - Edit
It's nothing extraordinary, but it's cheap, quick, and clearly labeled. There is even a menu in English (showing which dishes contain milk). Perfect to grab a quick lunch between classes.

Solid comfort food - Edit
Great choice for anyone who’s in the area to visit the zoo, Maokong tea fields or the Nat’l Chengchi University. Lu’s serves tasty and filling comfort food. Simple, but consistent and very tasty. Cooks always use fresh, seasonal vegetables. I’m particularly fond of their soups. Some dishes contain dairy, but they are marked very clearly. Last but not least, while I believe we shouldn’t demonize MSG, none is used here.
