No longer have vegan cheese or menu - Edit
The restaurant no longer has vegan options on the menu u and the server told us they no longer have vegan cheese. This is disappointing because we enjoyed it during a previous visit when they had vegan options. I’m sure the pizza is still good but you would have to ask them to remove toppings. There are better places for vegan options nearby.

Online menu did not reflect actual menu, however they did have vegan cheese - Edit
Heads up: The online menu (at the time I am writing this) has a section with vegan pizzas, turned out that this was not the case when we visited - there were no explicit vegan options on the menu.
Read moreWhen I asked, they did say they had vegan cheese. This came with a $9 uncharge on the 'build your own' option which they did not mention beforehand.
Honestly, would not have chosen to go there if this had been the case. I had assumed it was vegan friendly from the online menu, and I really don't like going off the standard menu.

Perfect crust, generously covered in vegan cheese, great options. Our go to’s are Fungi El Tartufo and Margherita!

Couldn’t believe it was vegan cheese! - Edit
I have a deep apology to offer to the staff here.
Read moreWe ordered off of their awesome vegan menu which had mouthwatering gourmet mixes and toppings. But when the pizza arrived, it didn’t seem like they used vegan cheese. It was just so stretchy and gooey. And when we bit into it, it genuinely tasted like cheese from cows. So we went in and asked. They assured us it was vegan. Biting into it again, just wasn’t convinced that the cheese was made from plants. It was good, but was it vegan? So we asked the manager. Again they assured us. The back and forth continued until eventually they brought out the cheese to show us that it is indeed a vegan brand. Boy did I feel like an A-hole.
Kudos to Lupo Pizzeria for making pizzas that were delicious and convincingly non-vegan. And again, apologies to the staff!!!
