Food was delicious - Edit
The first time I went there I was not pleased with the customer service. The lady at the order table after I told her this was my first time was impatient and rude, not answering simple questions, like what is this dish like (since it did not have a photo attached) or what spice level is number 1 similar to. I was not going to go back but when I tasted the food, it was delicious. I will only order takeout from now on so I don’t have to see or deal with that woman. The second time I went to pick up my order, there was another lady there and she was much nicer. Front desk people should be patient, kind and helpful with menu questions at ALL TIMES

Wonderful menu and so delicious! - Edit
Lucky Thai has so many vegan options on the menu that are clearly well marked. You know an establishment is happy cow legit when you see V=vegan! The fried oyster mushrooms were amazing, the spring rolls were super tasty, the tofu in the stir fried vegetable dish was crisped to perfection, and my husband, who is not a Thai food rookie, said the pad Thai was the best he’s ever had. We had such a great meal!

Incredible Food! Must have! - Edit
Wow, incredible! This place is definitely going to become my new go to spot. I’ve recently moved back to the area after living in other states for the past 11 years, and am an avid pho lover. I am vegan, however, and it can be hard to find vegan pho. I had a favorite place where I previously lived and was nervous to find somewhere here, but they absolutely nailed it! Not only that, but basically their entire menu can be made vegan and they are extremely friendly, welcoming, and happy to accommodate any food restrictions. They also have a ton of gluten free options if that’s something you need and/or are looking for.
Read moreTo top it all off, I had *two* vegan dessert options, which is huge, because most places don’t even have one, or if they do, it’s a bowl of fruit. I never expect to have options unless it’s a vegan restaurant, but when I saw the options on the menu, I was ecstatic! I got the fried banana sticky rice (other option is mango sticky rice) and it was one of the most incredibly tasting things I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back and have it again!
This is probably my favorite place to go to in town—it’s nice having so many things to pick from on the menu, but also nice that it is a “regular” restaurant, so it can accommodate anyone that is coming. I don’t feel guilty dragging my friends or family with me to dinner and hoping they like the vegan food, when they can get a “normal” meal for themselves, while I can also have more than one or two options to pick from.
*I would’ve given the restaurant 5 stars if I was allowed to, but since it’s not a fully vegan restaurant, the most you can give is 4 stars, which seems a bit much to me if I’m honest.*
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly and accommodating staff, Delicious food and desserts

Our fav place for vegan in Murfreesboro TN! - Edit
We absolutely love this place. While it is not 100% vegan (the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5), they will substitute any protein with a selection of plant based protein. They have lots of Gluten free selections as well. Most importantly the food is super tasty...down right delicious! The owner is dedicated to providing high quality food and she is such a wonderful person. We LOVE Lucky Thai!

The best I've found - Edit
Okay, so my girlfriend and I have tried many of the local Thai restaurants, to get a feel of where we can get the best tofu, curry, fried rice, etc. So far, we have been to Lucky twice and both times we had some of the best thai food we've ever had, vegan or otherwise. Their entire menu is labeled clearly if an item is vegan or could be made vegan, and I think there are only like two or three items that cannot be made vegan on the menu. Stop hesitating, just go eat here, it's 100% worth it. The prices are fair, the portions are great, and the staff is lovely and accommodating. Just go!!

Best Thai I’ve ever had - Edit
I frequent this place semi-often, especially considering I live 30 mins away. My usuals are green curry or vegan pad thai with tofu AND vegetables (love that they let you pick both), vegan cheeze wontons (I think they got rid of these very recently & I’m actually devastated. I’ve never had anything like them and they’re phenomenal), also the mango sticky rice is so yummy. I’ve also had the pad see ew (pretty good but not as good as the pad thai IMO), Lad Nah (not my thing, but I can see why a lot of people like it), fried dumplings (alright. Nowhere near as good as the wontons, though), ,fried curry puffs (Same opinion as dumplings), & the tofu satay (unique option with great flavor)! If I’m in Murfreesboro, 9/10 times I make a point to go here. Amazing!

Excellent Vegan Menu - Edit
This place has a super-easy menu for vegan customers to navigate. It is clearly marked to show which options are vegan by default and which can be made vegan upon request.
Read moreThe food is amazing...highly recommend the curry (all “colors” are great) and the Tom Yum soup. Spice options range from 0 - 5 and the 5 is quite hot, so beware! This restaurant also delivers, saving you the costs of app-based delivery services.
Thank you Lucky Thai for offering so many great vegan options. You have earned a loyal customer for sure!
Please be kind and always seek peace! ☮️

Simply the best in Murfreesboro - Edit
Delicious food, large serving sizes, and best of all, very compassionate and willing to help customers with severe dietary restrictions. My restrictions are beyond just vegan, and most restaurants are unable (or unwilling) to help, but not Lucky Thai. I had a great conversation with Chef Naly and she helped me figure out what I could eat with modifications.

This place goes above and beyond what most other Thai places offer around here for sure! Not far off I-24 either so a great option for vegan food if you’re passing through the area. Loved the vegan wontons, fried oyster mushrooms, and basil fried rice. Will definitely be back!
