Veg Options - Edit
Vegan options were very good.
Read moreNot all items marked with (V) are vegan some are vegetarian so you do need to ask. Service was good.
Did not enjoy seeing the dead whole fish displayed / hanging by tails in dining area glass case / cold cabinet.

Delicious vegan sushi - Edit
We got the vegan miso soup, spinach & tofu dumplings and all 3 vegan maki rolls. Good catch spicy “tuna,” farmbot 2.0 and the veggiepillar (my fav) 😍 I can’t wait to go back!

Great vegan options - Edit
Lucky robot is a classic upper-mid scale sushi restaurant in Austin. They have 8 or so vegan options on the menu, and keep the same standards of taste and presentation as their majority non-vegan options.

Wait staff is also incredibly friendly and clearly accustomed to accommodating strictly vegan customers

Delicious Sushi! - Edit
This absolutely delicious sushi places offers a variety of vegan maki (more flavorful and complicated sushi) and nigri rolls in addition to one vegan dessert.
Read moreI had the Good Catch Spicy “Tuna” and Farmbot 2.0. I personally liked the Farmbot 2.0 more, especially because of the cream cheese. The tuna roll tasted a lot like tuna!
The only reason it doesn’t have five stars from me would be the price. For both the vegan and non-vegan dishes, you’d think you would receive more food for the price you pay.
The service here was absolutely phenomenal! The waiter started us off by asking if we have any dietary restrictions, and was extremely attentive. It was the best waiting I’ve ever received.
The location itself is beautiful, with a mural outside and inside! There are gorgeous sakura blossoms on the inside with a wonderful atmosphere. It’s also LGBT friendly. The staff here all wear masks as well!
If you’re coming on a busy night, it’s best you get there early or have a reservation. While we were seated, we overheard and saw the hostess tell others there were no reservations left open and that they had to turn away others due to no tables.
Pros: Amazing service, Great location
Cons: Expensive, Busy

Creative and delicious - Edit
Many vegan choices are clearly marked and available in the hot dishes, maki rolls, and nigiri. I’ve had veggie sushi before, but all these dishes were something I’ve never had before. The spinach and tofu dumplings with cashew cream are delicious and a must try! My husband and I split a hot appetizer, 3 maki rolls, and two types of nigiri. This would be a nice restaurant to take a mixed group of vegans and non-vegans.

Food was very good - Edit
There was about 13 vegan options the day I went. (Check before going as menu changes). I was hoping to sample them all but our server forgot some things. Farmbot 2.0 and the veggie pillar were our favorites. The one vegan dessert option was so good we ordered 2. Highly recommend for special occasions. Also offers vegan diy kit boxes you can order.

Cons: Only about 5 parking spots, Didnt receive everything ordered , Tofu &mushroom dish was a lot of lemon and bitter
