Yum

We are new vegans and this experience was a great surprise to us! In fact my husband’s Mac and cheese was so delicious he had to check it was definitely vegan! All the food we tried was great and we loved the atmosphere and service! The burgers were lovely as were the buffalo cauliflower wings - overall a great experience! The nachos were amazing! We ate far too much!

Amazing Vegan Junk Food

After a long day, we fancied something that was tasty and was real comfort food. We had been recommended this place by a few people and after looking at the menu to discover everything bar 2 items could be vegan-ised we were sold! We ordered a chipotle Mac n cheese, souther fried seitan, spicy skin on fries & buffalo cauliflower- between 2 we are stuffed! Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend! We also had this as take away and only waited around 10 minutes after 9pm at night!!

Pros: A practically FULLY VEGAN menu, Huge range of different comfort foods, Well priced for portion sizes

Cons: There’s not one in Glasgow!

Good food but so so service

I've always had great food and love the chili fries. The service tends to be either average or a huge let down which is a shame...

Pros: Amazing vegan options, Good prices

Cons: Unreliable service

A must visit

We stumbled upon it by accident as most places were already closed on a Sunday night. It ended up being one of the best eating out experiences we’ve had in Britain, the food was amazing (I especially appreciated the chili cheese fries, a long time fave that’s surprisingly hard to find vegan) We also had the southern fried seitan which was very well spiced and satisfying.

The staff was helpful and the place itself has great interior in a funky over the top kin of way. Definitely would recommend this place

Pros: Great flavour and quality , Great staff, Open very late

Cons: Music was a bit loud

Lovely place with great vegan food

I had the chilli cheese fries, which were incredible, but didn't manage to finish them. Other people I were with had the jackfruit fries, barbecue cauliflower wings and a couple other things and all loved them. Great atmosphere here too.

Really great food and so many vegan options!

I loved my meal here and the atmosphere was fun and the decoration was great!
The food was really good, the buffalo cauliflower was delicious and the schnitzel burger was tasty but a wee bit hard at the edges.
The service was a little bit slow but it was quite busy so it was understandable.

Pros: Lots of delicious vegan options , Fun atmosphere

Cons: Service was a little slow

Scottish Roadtrip Part 1

Had a lovely time here this evening, even my "meat is masculine!"-dad enjoyed it. Great food at affordable prices with a broad selection of cocktails and juices, friendly staff and very queer-friendly atmosphere.

All food on the menu is vegetarian or vegan, distinguished clearly on the menu itself + all the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan upon request.

Pros: LGBTQ-Vibes & Student Aesthetic, Variety of Cocktails and Fresh Juices, 100% Meat-free Menu

Cons: Crammed Interior, Uncomfortable Furniture and Tiny Tables

Paradise Palms/Lucky Pig a Scottish, vegan tiki-bar!

This felt like the sister to Seattle/Portland's own vegan tiki bars (No Bones Beach Club) with its own unique vibe and menu. Very fun atmosphere and delicious food and drink. Note when trying to find "Lucky Pig" that the sign outside says Paradise Palms (there's just a little Lucky Pig symbol on the menu).

Pros: Fun atmosphere, Delicious food and drink, Inventive!

Cons: Goes by Paradise Palms (easy to miss walking by)

As amazing as the last time!

I have been here a few times and have been so impressed every time. I don’t live in Edinburgh anymore but am visiting for a few days and had to go back! Met a friend for lunch and opted for the chipotle mac n cheese and the fried pickles (this was after spending long enough on what to have as there are so many options). It was absolutely delicious too. Such a nice atmosphere, they do amazing cocktails too. Already planning my next trip here 👍🏻💚

Great vegan options!

Definitely one of the highlights of my birthday trip to Edinburgh! Great cocktails and AMAZING food! Between us my husband and I ate the southern-fried seitan burger, the black bean burger, the frickles, and the meatballs/chips/gravy 'dirty fries' dish. We also had an amazing sharing cocktail in a teapot. Everything was perfection!

Pros: Delicious vegan food, Friendly staff, Welcoming atmosphere

Very nice cocktail place and vegan food

Super cocktail bar! There were no virgin on the menu but the bar tender makes me one😄delicious!
The food I took was good and easy as cauliflower buffalo style, mac and cheese and vegan meatballs.

Pros: Good price

Vegan pina colada

Took my fiancé here for his birthday. The food was really good, I had jackfruit ‘fish’cakes and they were really tasty. The best part though was the vegan pina colada’s!

Pros: Fully vegetarian , Lots of vegan options, Vegan cocktails

Deconstructing and veganaizing your favs

The vibe here is ultra cool. It is very unassuming almost like you would not know it was vegetarian. The lady told me... do you know it is vegetarian. That made me wonder if I look like a meat eater🙈. I enjoyed a vegan schnitzel burger so nice and then took some onion rings just to be a bit true to the Scottish reputation for fried food.

Pros: Great vibe

Cons: I wish they would be more flamboyantly vegetarian

My favorite veg food in Edinburgh

Great stuff, everything I had was quality junk food, all of it veganizable. I particularly recommend the dirty fries with vegan mozz and seitan meatballs. Also those cruuunchy onion rings.

Pros: All veganizable, Freshly battered onion rings!, Great vegan cheese

Amazing

I love this place. I’ve only been once but can not wait to return. Almost everything on the menu can be made vegan and the portions are huge. I had the southern fried seitan and it was delicious. Can’t wait to go back ❤️

Nice and filling

This is a really good and comparably cheap place to get a big meal in Edinburgh. The burgers are great but what other people had on their plates looked really nice as well.

Pros: Large vegan selection

Cons: Good prices for Edinburgh

A different vegetarian

It’s a different restaurant is you are searching for a traditional vegetarian. The place, decoration, the rest it’s normal, the food it’s good but prefer holy cow or Henderson’s

Pros: Food, Place, Staff

Cons: WC, Low light for restaurant

Pros: Lots and lots of options, Gigantic portions, Great cocktail menu

The best chili bowl

I came here on a sunday evening because it was one of the only places that was open, I didn't want to eat anything unhealthy, therefore I wasn't to excited, went for the least unhealthy option, the Chili bowl, and OH MAN, it was so good and a total surprise. Loaded with beans and garlic fried black rice, absolutely delicous. Huge portion to, I can't recomend it enough.
