Yum - Edit
We are new vegans and this experience was a great surprise to us! In fact my husband’s Mac and cheese was so delicious he had to check it was definitely vegan! All the food we tried was great and we loved the atmosphere and service! The burgers were lovely as were the buffalo cauliflower wings - overall a great experience! The nachos were amazing! We ate far too much!

Amazing Vegan Junk Food - Edit
After a long day, we fancied something that was tasty and was real comfort food. We had been recommended this place by a few people and after looking at the menu to discover everything bar 2 items could be vegan-ised we were sold! We ordered a chipotle Mac n cheese, souther fried seitan, spicy skin on fries & buffalo cauliflower- between 2 we are stuffed! Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend! We also had this as take away and only waited around 10 minutes after 9pm at night!!
Read morePros: A practically FULLY VEGAN menu, Huge range of different comfort foods, Well priced for portion sizes

Good food but so so service - Edit
I've always had great food and love the chili fries. The service tends to be either average or a huge let down which is a shame...

A must visit - Edit
We stumbled upon it by accident as most places were already closed on a Sunday night. It ended up being one of the best eating out experiences we’ve had in Britain, the food was amazing (I especially appreciated the chili cheese fries, a long time fave that’s surprisingly hard to find vegan) We also had the southern fried seitan which was very well spiced and satisfying.

Lovely place with great vegan food - Edit
I had the chilli cheese fries, which were incredible, but didn't manage to finish them. Other people I were with had the jackfruit fries, barbecue cauliflower wings and a couple other things and all loved them. Great atmosphere here too.

Paradise Palms/Lucky Pig a Scottish, vegan tiki-bar! - Edit
This felt like the sister to Seattle/Portland's own vegan tiki bars (No Bones Beach Club) with its own unique vibe and menu. Very fun atmosphere and delicious food and drink. Note when trying to find "Lucky Pig" that the sign outside says Paradise Palms (there's just a little Lucky Pig symbol on the menu).

As amazing as the last time! - Edit
I have been here a few times and have been so impressed every time. I don’t live in Edinburgh anymore but am visiting for a few days and had to go back! Met a friend for lunch and opted for the chipotle mac n cheese and the fried pickles (this was after spending long enough on what to have as there are so many options). It was absolutely delicious too. Such a nice atmosphere, they do amazing cocktails too. Already planning my next trip here 👍🏻💚

Great vegan options! - Edit
Definitely one of the highlights of my birthday trip to Edinburgh! Great cocktails and AMAZING food! Between us my husband and I ate the southern-fried seitan burger, the black bean burger, the frickles, and the meatballs/chips/gravy 'dirty fries' dish. We also had an amazing sharing cocktail in a teapot. Everything was perfection!

Deconstructing and veganaizing your favs - Edit
The vibe here is ultra cool. It is very unassuming almost like you would not know it was vegetarian. The lady told me... do you know it is vegetarian. That made me wonder if I look like a meat eater🙈. I enjoyed a vegan schnitzel burger so nice and then took some onion rings just to be a bit true to the Scottish reputation for fried food.

The best chili bowl - Edit
I came here on a sunday evening because it was one of the only places that was open, I didn't want to eat anything unhealthy, therefore I wasn't to excited, went for the least unhealthy option, the Chili bowl, and OH MAN, it was so good and a total surprise. Loaded with beans and garlic fried black rice, absolutely delicous. Huge portion to, I can't recomend it enough.
