Serves meat, vegan options available. Chinese/Mexican restaurant with a separate vegan menu. Relocated from Calz Mexico Tacuba 11. Open Mon-Sun 10:30am-10:30pm.
Comparatively Small amounts of food for price. This was 110 pesos when I can get full meals including soup, salad, drink, and dessert for 50 to 70 pesos.
This is one of our favorite neighborhood spots (it’s open later than a lot of other vegan-friendly eateries in the area). My absolute favorite dish here is the mapo tofu with vegan chicken (don’t forget to order steamed rice on the side because it’s not included). The restaurant isn’t fancy, but they do have a dedicated vegan menu which is pretty extensive for a place that’s not 100% vegan. The menu is in Spanish, and I don’t know if anyone who works there speaks English (we’ve never tried), but it’s nothing Google Translate can’t help you figure out. We also recommend then vegan cochinita pibil tacos. This place is not really expensive, but it’s moderate for the area (an entree is usually around $110 pesos or $6 USD). You can see a full menu with prices if you look at their Google listing (it’s in the photos).
