Pretzel Bun!! - Edit
We stopped here on the way back from Pittsburgh A good half way stop to Rochester. Found this on Happy Cow and it did not disappoint!! I got the Yankee dog with the vegan hot dog. Omg it was amazing!!! Especially the pretzel bun! That really makes it. We also got the putted pork fries veganized. Not a fan of jack fruit so was not impressed but not bad!! Will definitely go back!!

Lots of choices! - Edit
This place is a lot of fun, I was surprised at how many options there were for vegan dogs. They have a vegan menu is clearly marked. Beer selection is so extensive, it borders on overwhelming.

It is still delicious but WOW!! much more expensive. Got the Asian Invasion. It used to be $5.25. Now it is $8.00 PLUS a $5.00 up charge to “make it vegan” per plate. There is no difference in the ingredients in that menu item that makes it vegan other than the hotdog itself ( they do have vegan cheese, vegan mayo, etc for other dishes that require those items). I think a $5 up charge to substitute a vegan hotdog is too much. They now have French fries which were delicious. I would be careful next time I order to know before I pay the bill how much more I would pay for a vegan hotdog plate. The up charge on the Yankee hotdog plate was only $2.50.

Must stop off I-90 - Edit
Got the blazing saddles and the Asian dog as vegan. Loved the blazing saddles dog. Had to order a 3rd, the Seattle because the wasabi was way too much on the Asian dog- just picked the wrong item- the food is great!

I had the Asian Invasion vegan version and it was awesome. Beware of wasabi though.... Very hot! All kinds of other vegan options. People are very friendly and aware of difference between vegan and vegetarian.

don't judge a hot dog stand by its cover - Edit
At first glance, I was like "no way, this looks sketch" but I'm into trying new things, and it was the only place that Google maps would load. So I go in, and ask for the Vegan menu and they have every veg option very clearly marked. I got the BLT dog, which used a veggie dog, Tempeh bacon, tomato lettuce, and vegan mayo. Great beer selection too.

Lucky Find! - Edit
We were staying one night in the Erie area and were lucky that was it; otherwise we would have gone broke eating here every day. The vegetarian and vegan menu was large enough to keep trying new creations for days. If you are into trying multiple types of beer, this is your place. The wall of beer choices added to the fun and laid back atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I think I would make a trip to Erie, PA just to have a few more veggie dogs done the right way.

Great vegan dogs - Edit
We stopped here on a trip from NC to Canada, and enjoyed it so much we stopped again on the way home. Has a large menu of both classic and creative hot dogs; many are marked vegetarian-friendly. If you ask for the vegan menu, they have a list of the dogs for which they have all vegan ingredients. Owner was very nice when we asked. We had the BLT dog on the way up, and the Yankee dog (kraut and mustard) on the way down. Wish it were closer to home!

Great food - Edit
This place has just beer and hot dogs. But the best thing is they have vegan hot dogs and toppings for almost all the hot dogs they have.
Read moreThe place is pretty small though, so if you go at a peak time, don't plan on a table. They do have outdoor seating but that does no good in the winter.
I can't say much about the beer besides there are several big coolers full. I have never had any while there as I am not much of a beer drinker. I am sure several are vegan as I know some of the brands that are.
Be warned though, it is not easy to find. It has no road side sign. It is next to a beer distributor (same building).
A must try in the Erie area!
Pros: vegan hot dogs, Lots of toppings, friendly owner
Cons: very small, Hard to find, no big sign, not much seating
