This particular location offers a limited menu of vegan favorites from other Loving Huts in the bay area, including several noodle soups, burgers, a salad and a two types of spring rolls. In addition, there is a hot bar where one can choose from noodles or rice combined with several other sides to make a stir fry combo. I usually love LovingHut, this one inside the mall is decent since it’s more of a “fast-food” style with steam table combos like Panda Express

The steam table food can be a bit cold/lukewarm when it’s not too busy but they also have hot noodle soups prepared fresh to order
We went for weekend lunch a few times and there is often no line or just a short line
We ordered the combo plate with entree and 2 sides plus crispy spring roll
The eggplant tofu and Mongolian beef are pretty tasty
I still prefer the stand alone LovingHuts where you dine in/have entrees made fresh to order
However, it is nice to see a fully vegan option inside a malll food court and is convenient for quick service with large servings for the price

Typical "Matt Food Court Fast Food" but with a vegan focus - Edit
The food is plentiful and won't leave you hungry. We both liked our meals though admittedly they were very greasy/oily. Half our order from the menu was not available and so we had to substitute - so be prepared to change what you want to order. It's conveniently located near the Target. I had the chow mein and my husband had the Mongolian beef. We both liked the mains. The corn dogs and also brown rice were not available or no longer available. The satay poppers were very greasy and the satay sauce didn't taste peanuty. The got the spring rolls as substitute for the corn dog poppers and they were incredibly greasy.

I went there for lunch and the caterer was very clutch. He offered to pour some curry into my rice. He was also nice enough to let me have free samples to decide which juice I wanted to order. Food was overall amazing too with great selections. Typical fast food style vegan restaurant.

It’s great to have a vegan place in the mall when I visit the area. They sell some of the best vegan jerky I’ve ever had and it’s reason alone to go. I also love the Japchae and Mongolian “beef”.

Loving Hut is one of the best spots to get a variety of Asian inspired vegan dishes for an amazing price. Simply put - the food here was fantastic and plentiful.
Read moreTheir two-item combo ($13) is a steal with all the food you end up getting. I was able to select a base, a protein (yuba or tofu skin), three cold sides, and two hot entrees. If that sounds like a lot of food to fit into one container, it's because it is!
I was able to ask for half brown rice/chow mein noodles, yuba as my protein, and the laksa curry and Mongolian beef as my mains. The server was incredibly generous because my box was so heavy after they packed everything in. I loved having yuba as my protein and the laksa brought back flavors from Malaysia. The 'beef' was also nice and the savory-sweet sauce they used was deelish.
I also loved that each entree was clearly described in detail so that you could tell what you were consuming. It was nice to see them use a variety of different plant based proteins to create the entrees and it inspired me to try making some of them at home myself (hehe).

I didn’t know this was a mall food court restaurant. This came up on my Happy Cow app as nearby and was curious. Come here if you want to eat in a mall food court OR are shopping. The Westfield mall is terrible to navigate and find parking. The quality of food here was not worth the effort to get here. Lots of really great alternatives nearby

Poor quality for a Loving Hut - Edit
This quality isn't typical of Loving Hut. The food and service here are awful compared to what Loving Hut typically is. Much worse in the mall. The wonton soup was mostly broth, only a couple wontons. As for the service: when walking up to this Loving Hut, they noticed us but wouldn't come out from the back even though there were no other customers or orders that they were working on. We watched someone slice one onion for 10 minutes to avoid coming to the front. We initially ate there to support the business once we noticed this Loving Hut in a crowded mall at rush hour with not even one single customer. Every other restaurant had a customer except here, now it's clear why

Whenever I'm in the nabe I bring my to-go containers here and load them up to take home. The Mongolian Wonder and Teriyaki Stir Fry are favorites. The first time I brought my own to-go containers they not only welcomed them but rewarded me with a very nice shopping bag. On the other hand, there was one time the person behind the counter didn't know what to do with them and said she couldn't fill them. The staff turnover seems to be very fast and I'm not sure they always get adequate training. But I'll keep coming here -- it's well worth it.

Great noodles with different types of seitan and soy stir fries. The steamed veggies are also very tasty not to mention the amazing spring rolls. I only give 4 star because I had to think twice to eat there as the look didn’t seem so inviting from a distance. The front of the store is very plane and the menu is missing loads from what’s actually available. The food doesn’t look very inviting either but taking a closer look changed my mind. And the taste is perfect.

This location offers a "vegan discount" so be sure to mention it. We love to get the side of veggies and add them to our soup or ramen. Even my non-vegan son loves the won ton soup. The soups and Thai Tea are amazing. Along w their buffet style spread which have looked fresh upon every one of our visits so far. Very flavorful food. Great service as well.

At the end of the day it's still just mall food. Granted - I arrived around 8 - but the cafeteria style food selection looked like it had been sitting there too long. Not appetizing. They have a few noodle soups to choose from. I picked the wonton soup. It was flavorless without the sriracha until I got to the bottom of the bowl. The other thing I'm not a fan of is all of the fake meat used - I'd rather more veggies. Not the best Loving Hut. The prices are good though. For what it is ... mall food ... yeah sure... go for it.

First of all, I am stoked to see an all-vegan restaurant in a shopping mall food court! That just made my day right there. Nice variety of items, both Asian-style and Western-style. Try their desserts! Their vegan cheesecake is as tasty as- actually, probably even better than- regular dairy cheesecake. The chocolate cake is really good, too. I want to go again : )
