Delicious food, great service - Edit
This was a cute restaurant with outdoor seating. I got the kebab and golden rolls, both were heavenly. Unfortunately the waitress said they were closing at the end of Feb 2022. Such a shame!

I'm used to eat small portions and to get satisfied with it, but what I've got here was really not worth it, although it tasted really good.
Read moreI've ordered one of the biggest and most expensive main dishes "Prospérité" for 16 euros and have got only a "little brother" of that, what was presented on the picture.
In general, it costs almost nothing - to put more rice, vegetables and salad on the plate, but they seem to save up a lot.
Maybe if you order the full menu - with starter, some main dish and dessert - it can work for an average hunger, otherwise eat somewhere else and come here for degustation.
Pros: + good taste, + central location, + sea view

Les options étaient super bonnes. Il y avait des asiettes sans gluten ou des asiettes modifiables pour qu'elles soient sans gluten. Les serveurs étaient très agréables avec les clients et avec les animaux qui y venaient. Le menu était très varié, on ne savait même pas quoi choisir parce que tout avait l'air d'être vraiment bon. Tout ce que l'on a mangé était délicieux et c'est pour cela que l'on voudrais vous recommander ce restaurant.

Had the falafel wrap which was really nice and filling.
Then had 2 pieces of cake because they all looked so nice. The Matcha and Pistachio was absolutely sublime, the texture and taste was perfect. The fruit cheesecake was also extremely tasty as well.
A real gem run by really nice people in a really nice spot. When parked near here again I will definitely return to try the other cake I couldn’t eat today.

During my one-week stay in Menton I went twice to the Loving Hut.
Read moreI was very happy to be there as in the rest of Menton I didn't find any other restaurants with good vegan food on the menu.
I recommend the "Discovery Plate" (you'll get a mixture of several dishes on one plate for 16 Euro)
My experience in short:
+ friendly staff
+ very good food to a reasonable price (in comparison to other restaurant prices in Menton)
+ all vegan
+ a lot of different food options
+ no smoking
+ nice location with beachview

Always pleased to find a Loving Hut, as you know that everything is vegan and that you’ll get an excellent meal with a wide variety of choices.
With the Loving Hut in Menton, you could not ask for a more picturesque sea front location and lots of outdoor seating space as well as a large indoor area too.
The staff were busy--- only one waiter for a full restaurant. I’d advise going there early. We got there at 1.30-1.45 and they had already sold out of the summer rolls and the sushi! It seems a popular place.
Everything we had was really good. I can recommend the Yummy balls and the Crumbled soy protein. They made nice starters. We then had the Rainbow rice and a veggie burger for main, and a delicious chocolate cheese cake for desert.
The Loving Hut would be a good place to take not vegan friends and family too, as it has such well flavoured and varied choices.
Inside the restaurant they have vegan food items for sale, including Violife vegan cheese! This was the first time I’ve seen that brand on sale since being in France. They sell the Vegusto brand too. So it’s handy being able to stock up on vegan products for home after your meal. They also sell vegan pet food and dog treats.
Something for everyone! The restaurant is of course dog friendly too.

We ate here twice, both at lunch time, and there was a good selection of vegan food - salads, burgers and falafel. The location is excellent, on the sea front just a short walk from the railway station.

Love Loving Hut and what a location right on the ocean - Edit
We went on a cold and somewhat overcast day in winter, it was very busy even at this time. They have heat lamps if you are on the porch with the best view over the ocean or you can go inside to the cosy restaurant.

The food is delicious with great flavour. The portion sizes are just right, big but not too big and the price is very reasonable.
As with all loving huts they don't serve alcohol but the local Menton lemonade is very tasty.
Staff are very happy and friendly, they speak both French and English and the menu is also in Italian (three languages in total)
You can pay by card.
Also, they stock several 'kinds of cheese and sausages' to take home (handy to know as some of the brands are from the UK and not in the main supermarkets over here) plus other items including vitamins and toiletries.
Pros: Good Value, Friendly Staff, great location, Good sized, tasty portions
Cons: it can be very busy, suggest you book ahead.

Loving hut never disappoints - Edit
I tried a few Loving Hut in different countries, this one met my expectations. Loving hut is a great place for vegans, a place where you feel home. We had crostini with pesto and cheese (yummy), a vegan burger (ok) and vegan kebab (rich and tasty). The lemon pie was to die for. The chocolate cheesecake decadent. Overall, everything was very good. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients! Another pros: it’s a non smoking restaurant, also outside! You can buy vegan chocolate and vegan mock meat too. Recommended
