Best vegan fish and chips I've had - Edit
Dude.
Read moreI've been to the loving hut in Bankstown, Sydney but hadn't tried nor do I know if they do a vegan fish and chips.
But this one was amazing.
They have upstairs seating that's not as crowded as seating below but I was alone with a couple making out by the window. But that's besides the point.
I drowned my chips with malt vinegar and they also have vegan mayo in the little condiments tray.
Would like to try their other stuff but knowing theyre a franchise means I could try other dishes elsewhere.

have the starter platter! - Edit
Nice south East Asian mock meat dishes for great prices! My partner had the ocean burger and I had hoisin duck. The mock meat is tasty and you get a good portion of steamed veg with the asian dishes.

Great menu - Edit
This is one of a number of loving Huts around the world.
Read moreI hadn't seen one with vegan Oreo milkshakes before which is what I had. A bit milky but hit the spot.
I had no room for vegan fish and chips or the many lovely hot delicacies on offer. Great spot and I will be returning to check out the rest of this menu
Pros: Great vegan selection, Good value
Cons: Not a great ambience

Convenient for central Brighton - Edit
We saw all the really great reviews here, so we went to eat at the Loving Hut on a visit to Brighton. It was a bright and cheerful small place, and we were hungry. Val had a gluten free vermicelli main course, and I had an Ocean Burger with chips and a salad. The vermicelli was ok, but it was the smallest main course we've ever seen, and for £7.50 was pretty poor value. My burger was ok too -- it was a normal size, and the salad, although very small, was imaginative; but there could have been way more chips. Val was still hungry after eating, so we went elsewhere.

Amazing Hot Drinks! - Edit
I got a salted caramel moccha which was so tasty. My girlfriend tried it and said it was the best coffee drink she'd ever had, and she's not a fan of coffee. She ordered the brownie milkshake which we both agreed was incredible! Go here on one of those common English rainy days!

Amazing Fish and Chips - Edit
Very sweet cute cafe. With a range of lunch food and cakes. You can even buy Tofurkey and many vegan ice creams and 'fish like' products. I had the 'NotDog' and chips, great for only £5.90. My boyfriend had the fish and chips, totally amazing and would fool any non-vegan, as it was quite 'fishy'. Two main meals and two organic drinks for just £16. Very fairly priced. Also located in the middle of the lanes, so can stop while you shop.

Great breakfast - Edit
I went here on a rather seedy Sunday, hoping I could find a big vegan full English breakfast, and I wasn't disappointed. The scrambled tofu was delicious, the sausages were wrapped in facon, and best of all, we got to eat outside in the beautiful sunshine. Would definitely eat here again next time I'm in Brighton.

Lovely vegan cafe/restaurant. Food arrived quickly. We ordered scrambled tofu on toast, vegan fish and chips, and a chocolate croissant. All very tasty and very reasonably priced. Amazing selection. Made me wish I lived in Brighton!

Really nice place, relatively easy to locate. The menu was varied from vegan sushi to burgers etc. We had vegan ice cream and it was lovely. The staff were all happy, smiling and conversational with customers but not slow. Seats were comfy. When I'm back in brighton, definitely going back.

Good selection of daily specials. Not so impressed by regular menu. Compared to the loving huts in Taiwan, our experience may have robbed this establishment of 1 star/cow....

Fast food and stir frys with friendly staff - Edit
The friendly team who used to to run the loving hut by St Peter's church have moved to a bigger venue in the north Laines. Good range of food - there's usually a buffet, range of vegsn stir fries and burgers as well as great cake. Cheesecake and the pandan cake are by favourites. Great for a quick lunch or snack.

Love this place! - Edit
Wow what a wonderful place! I've eaten here a few times and enjoyed everything i've eaten and the people who run it are very friendly & welcoming. Last time i had chunky satay with rice (one of their g/f options), crispy clouds and a chocolate milkshake. My friend had burger & chips and black forest gateau. We both came away very happy & content! I love that everything is vegan & the people who run it clearly care about this. (Also been there with omnivore friends who enjoyed the food)It's a relaxing place to be & the outside seating is a real sunny spot. There's upstairs seating too so lots of space. Writing this is making me want to go back now and eat some of their yum food and amazing cake!
