No need to buy shoes anywhere else! - Edit
Their airseal range are really high quality. I have the steel toe ten eye, but I've really made them military grade shine, they're for best. I go to work in the 3 eye airseal smooth shoes, but wear the airseal safety boot at work. I also have a pair of boulder boots for leisure, along with a pair of combat boots.
Read moreThen there's a late 1990's pair of Dr. Martens for vegetarian shoes 1460's that are still going and comfy. Next on the list are a pair of monkey boots I think. Maybe a 14 eye steel toe too.
The vegan leather is stronger than animal leather, they last forever! Plus, I love Solovair who make them. Pimp them up with vegetarian shoes laces 🌱
Pros: Better than dms, Airseal made in England, Durability and style
Cons: Never wear out! I need new pairs!

Good variety on offer; trainers, boots, smart shoes etc. They also sell a range of accessories. Nice to have a shoe shop where you haven’t got to stand and read material labels!

Great range of shoes - Edit
This is a great shop with a range of stylish boots, trainers and other shoes. The prices are reasonable and a lot of the shoes are under £100 which is unusual in vegan shoe shops. They have lots of space to sit and try on the shoes. They also sell a range of accessories including a selection of belts, wallets and bags. They've won lots of awards for their shoes and these were proudly displayed around the shop. They also have a website for ordering online if you can't make it to the shop.

Shoes last so long - Edit
I bought my pair 6 months ago and it's as good as new (albeit a lil dirty). They make shoes that last.

Cute But No Support - Edit
While in NYC it started to snow. So my partner and I popped into a little shop and each bought a pair of Snub Boots. While they are super cute, the construction of the instep is poor. It is flat and has no noticeable arch. My friend and I both had the same experience, so I know it’s not me being particular ;)

Cons: No arch support, Poor construction of insert.

Poor quality - Edit
Not the best quality considering the price. I ordered hiking boots thinking that it's going to be a good investment but they both came apart. I brought them to the shoe repair shop and the guy told that they are very bad quality so even if he tries to repair they will break again.
Read moreThe shipping is quite expensive as well and I had to pay twice since the sizing was not correct neither.
Very dissapointed and would not recommmend!

Great Quality Shoes - Edit
I've had multiple pairs of shoes from Vegetarian Shoes, from some steel toe capped boots for college over a decade ago, to some Birkenstock style sandals, and all have been great quality, durable, and robust. Highly recommended if you want a pair of long lasting, ethical footwear.

Vegetarian shoe delight - Edit
It was refreshing to be able to walk into a shop and know that all the shoes were ethical, I didn’t need to read the labels!
Read moreThere was a decent amount of choice. Staff were on hand to answer questions and help out.
I opted for some boots on the ‘broken biscuits’ rack. They were £75 reduced from £84.95.

Quality varies, limited range - Edit
As I had been ordering shoes from Vegetarian Shoes online for some years, I was really looking forward to visiting their shop when staying near Brighton.
Read moreThe shop is quite small, but I suppose they have their entire range on sale there. The quality of the shoes varies, as I'm really happy with the quality of most of the pairs I own, but one of the boots has a very poorly sewed on lining. After putting them on the first time, the seam tore. I got a replacement pair, but the same happened. The shoe is otherwise good quality, so I had a shoemaker replace the entire lining, which in the end was almost as expensive as the shoes. I also didn't like the pair of "suede" shoes I once owned, it got grubby very quickly and I wasn't able to clean them properly.

Small shop, not that much variety - Edit
This is from a visit in 2015.
Read moreWe were very much looking forward to visiting this shop when in Brighton. But were a bit disappointed.
There weren't that many different shoes to choose from.
I find the design of a lot of the shoes a bit outdated.
The person in the shop seemed quite uninterested and not so friendly. I asked for socks to try out some shoes (as it was Summer and I wasn't wearing any), but they didn't have any available! In a shoe shop!
Did buy a pair of classy men's boots. Nice.

Whilst I am not so fond of the logo(!), this shop has some good quality vegan shoes. I bought a lovely pair of black lace-up brogue shoes which have strong grip, look well made, and were very comfortable. They don't have the widest range, but worth a look if you're nearby.

Great shoes and boots at reasonable prices - Edit
Been meaning to go here for ages and one of our rescue dogs needing a ct scan at a vets in Brighton gave us the excuse. The name belies the fact that these are all vegan products. I tried on a few items and bought two pairs of boots and a pair of shoes for me, plus a pair of sandles for my partner. Lovely quality, all hand made either in UK or EU and at reasonable prices, comparable to those for similar leather boots and shoes. Some of the most comfortable footwear I've ever had. Our well behaved border terrier was allowed in with us, which was a bonus and the lady serving was very helpful and friendly, without being pushy or overly attentive. I heartily recommend this shop to anyone who wants cruelty free, good quality and reasonably priced footwear, belts or satchels.

Boots 'N' All - Edit
Excellent shop that stocks a large variety of boots, shoes and trainers as well as accessories such as belts, satchels, insoles and polish. We visited the store whilst in Brighton where my wife bought a pair each of black airseal boots and para boots. Both are very sturdy and comfortable. If you cannot visit the store you can also order online. Some people may say the products are slightly expensive but the fact that no animals are killed in the process makes it well worth it.

Cons: Slightly expensive
