Loving it!

We had the sushi, a side salad, the tofu vegetable fried rice, some satay skewers... I was hoping to stuff my face with more delicious looking items from the menu, but our visit to Folkestone's Dr. Legumes was only a couple of hours ago and I was still quite full. Normally, I'm like "humans are a bit flawed, as we need to eat at least 3 times a day", but when in Brighton, I don't mind it that much😄, as the restaurants here are excellent, and the Loving Hut North Laines is no exception to that.

Pros: Tasty dishes, Friendly staff, Excellent location

Love the great tasting food and all Vegan!

Spoilt for choices and we come here almost everyday. Food is yummy and finishing a delectable meal with dessert like vegan cakes and brownies is simple heavenly. Only at Loving Hut. Love it ❤️

Pros: All vegan , Wide variety: Western, Chinese, desserts, drinks , Cold press juices too!

Cons: Slightly expensive.

Food is ok but uninspiring, ideally located.

We ended up eating here as VBites was full and this was the only vegan place nearby that was open after 6 pm.

The food quality was underwhelming, everything we had was very greasy and the menu was uninspiring, there is only junk food available here.

Great food

Great food, especially the fake duck. I didn’t like the dish I got as much (wish I could remember what it was, some noodle dish) however, loved what the rest of the people i were with got.

Great Selection - Very Tasty!

Nice selection of healthy and not so healthy options, everything I tried was very tasty. The shakes and the desserts were a particular highlight!

The vegan cakes are awesome!

We ordered a carrot cake and a lemon muffin. It. Was. Amazing.
It's not that cheap but absolutely worth it. Coffee tastes great. In the end we tried a berry smoothie, which was amazing aswell. All that said - a place to go for vegans who want all the sweet stuff without asking 'is this vegan?' because yessss - everything is vegan!!

Pros: Everything on the menu is vegan , Variety of vegan sweets and cakes, Great coffee

Nice restaurant with outdoor seating

Many options on the menu, I had the salad with scramble tofu which was surprisingly very tasty.
My friends had a burger and noodles and they both liked their dishes. Not outstanding, but still good.

best Fish & Chips

The place is nice and the food was just delicious! Had the faux fish & chips and was amazed by how good it tasted. Give it a try if you visit Brighton

Pros: there are options from different cuisines

Disappointing breakfast

I had the scrambled tofu and avocado on toast. Which turned out to be some dusty-tasting tofu with 3 tiny slivers of avocado on the side. No seasoning on the avocado or spread on the toast. So disappointed! They do seem to have a good menu but I wasn’t impressed by the quality of the food. (They do sell large Vego bars though!)

Pros: Big menu

Cons: Disappointing food

Absolutely agree! I used to go to the Loving Hut every time I was in Brighton - and I loved the food especially the cakes.

I was not very hungry and wanted something piquant for breakfast and was so disappointed. The whole thing was a) cold and b) completely tasteless. They just put some turmeric on the tofu and tossed it with a few onions in a pan. That was it, no other spices or anything that would make it tasting like scrambled egg. And the three very thin slices of avocado ... all in all a joke and way too expensive.

Sorry Loving Hut - you will not see me again.

Can’t wait to go back!

I had the LH breakfast with the scrambled tofu as well as the brownie milkshake and they were delicious! Would come back to Brighton again just to try out more of the menu as it was so good! The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. Can’t wait to go back!

amazing choice of vegan dishes

I only popped in for a take away, but will definitely call again with friends for a full meal during the day, as the vegan choice was amazing. The food I had was really good, and the lady who served me was lovely. Highly recommended. It’s a cafe vib, so relaxed and informal.

Great Loving Hut.

Clean, friendly staff and good food.

Minor feedback: please ask customer if they want their brownie heated up or not. Mine was heated but I would have liked to have had it cold. Thanks.

very nice little place

I love loving hut!! They have a wide range of soups/stirfrys/veg skewers/dumplings and specials. Along with many desserts and a small shelf/fridge serving bars/drinks/pet food.hot chocolates, milkshakes, all you could want!
100% vegan. Would also be good for take away but seating both upstairs and down as well as outside. Good prices

Pros: 100% vegan , lots of choices

Cons: none

Peng food. Great location

Great place with an even better menu, come here at least once at month when I'm in Brighton. Have taken 2 non vegans here and they absolutely loved it. They've got great photos and posters of famous vegans and facts/info

Pros: 100% vegan menu, friendly staff, clean

Cons: if weather doesn't permit sitting outside, seating

Nice fastfood in the hustle and busle of Gardner street

This is from a visit in 2015.

We sat on the terrace, which really gives you a good feel of the vibe of touristy Brighton (in Gardner street).

Nice fastfood, although all quite greasy.
Mixed platter as a starter, and a burger and pie with gravy sauce.
very cheap for Brighton!

Lots of cakes on offer and all vegan! Not the most atmospheric cafe, but it was lovely sitting outside. I had the chocolate brownie, it was so amazing and very chocolatey!

Good food. poor sevice

I've been here a few times now. I Think the food is of good quality and a reasonable price. Upstairs is quieter but no atmosphere. The staff on both occasions were not terribly friendly. Having said that I will continue to visit as it's quick and in a good location.

Cons: Not much atmosphere upstairs. Not over friendly st

Great English breakfast!

My sister and I had already been in Brighton for two days before we walked by this place. The previous day, we had eaten a disappointing vegan breakfast at a different place, so when we saw that this Loving Hut had a full English breakfast on the menu, we were very excited, and the food did not disappoint!

We both ate the Loving Hut Breakfast with tofu scramble, and drank those "organic" colas they sell. We left Loving Hut with full stomachs and happy faces. :)

The person behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly. The food arrived quickly. The interior is bright and simple.

Pros: good food, friendly and welcoming staff, location

Cons: none

good 'milk' shakes but average food

Was disappointed with the quality of the food - pretty bland and very greasy. Basically like cheap Chinese take away food which is fine if that's what you like. The burger was average and the chow mein was ok but oily. The starters/sharer plate were really good but also too oily. Vego milkshake was delicious though and the cakes looked really nice too.

Highly recommended!!
