Closed Down

Brilliant place but it has gone as the landlord sold the building.
The Family is not intending to re-locate.
RIP Loving Hut Brighton after 12 years. 😢

Pros: Nothing any more

Cons: There weren’t any but irrelevant now.

Good food and plenty of choice

The menu doesn't change much, but it doesn't need to # from noodles to burgers, shakes to smoothies there is plenty of choice!

Pros: Fully vegan

Delicious food, lots of choice, helpful staff.

There are plenty of vegan-friendly and plant-based eateries in Brighton but this one is exclusively vegan. Can trust that everything is ethical and there’s no worry or having to ask and double check. There are cake / dessert options too. Several milk choices. Reasonably priced (for Brighton) and good service.

Training tip for the staff team;
One of the team said to a customer “we don’t have normal milk”. What they have is a choice.
Preferable for the staff team to change their language and say “you can choose from soya, oat, rice, coconut etc milk. We don’t serve dairy products here”.

Pros: Exclusively Vegan, Plenty of choice

Cons: Staff training update on inclusive language.

Great for vegan Chinese food

Loved this as so bored of vegan burger, vegan chicken etc. They do cater for this but so many noodle and rice dishes on the menu which is a novelty for me.
Its cafe style so very relaxed. My daughter had vegan fish and chips, hubby had mushroom chow mein and I had the tofu pad tai which in my opinion is the best. It is not high cuisine but it was tasty and not too pricy.
I took away a lemon and blueberry cake to eat later and that was fantastic!

Pros: Enough variety for all, Reasonably priced, Friendly service

Super!!

100% vegan, 100% gorgeous!
The first fully vegan restaurant in Brighton, and there’s a reason why they are still going strong!
Traditional Chinese food, burgers, cakes, etc… so much choice.

Pros: All vegan! , Great location , Awesome staff!

Cons: I can’t eat 2 desserts at once! (I couldn’t …, Decide between all the options!)

That Hot Chocolate!

Only popped in for drinks, we had the Chai Latte, and Hot Chocolate. Beautifully creamy, comforting and not overly sweet. Really friendly service, and clean. Will definitely return for a meal soon.

Good food for a quick snack

We were here over lunch and had a tasty but rather below average burger. The service was friendly. The space itself is nothing special. It's nice that it's a completely vegan restaurant.

Pros: lots of vegan options, friendly staff

Cons: interior

Always one of the best places to go

Came here with my partner and a friend once outdoor seating for restaurants reopened and we were not disappointed. Has something for everyone - our friend wanted a full English and we wanted burgers. Staff are wonderful people and the menu is very exciting! So much good stuff to try. Please support this place!

Pros: Great choice, Great staff, Decent prices

Cons: Would love more outdoor seating

Wonderful experience and excellent Chinese food!

A great location and friendly staff greet you, the menu is clear and good value- I am a sucker for a Vegan burger and chips and get a variation of that at most vegan places we visit, but, as there was Chinese food available, we went for the Sweet and Sour with rice and Mushroom stirfry and a side of chips, £20 all in with sauces available, great value for central Brighton, and nice portion sizes.
The sweet and sour soya pieces were battered and lathered in sauce, divine, there were veggies including cabbage and pineapple with a side of soft jasmine rice.
Lots of drinks available and we also went back for desserts (gluten free available) which were good value and not just all refined suger, some wholesome ingredients too!

Pros: Location- right next to the Komedia Brighton, Expert freshly made Chinese food & other food, Large selection of desserts and drinks

Cons: Not easily accessed for diabled (loos down stairs), Not alot of room on tables (they have spikes!!), knives/forks/napkins on table

Marvellous!

Took my 18 year old and 7 year old daughters here for lunch, our first time. I am a new vegan (7.5 weeks), 18 year old was doing an "eating vegan for a day" food challenge, and 7 year old was hangry!

It is easy to find, and has good wheelchair accessibility (18 year old is a wheelchair user). It's a bit squeezy inside but we seemed to arrive at the right time as there was a table available that was relatively tucked away so we didnt cause an obstruction.

Service was fabulous, very helpful and friendly. Food was super yummy - i had the mushroom and soya chow mein, 18 year old had chik'n wrap, and 7 year old had sosage, beans and hash brown. Older daughter really enjoyed her wrap - couldnt work out how it could taste so 'chickeny'! Younger one didnt like her sosage, but i know from experience that vegan sosages are a really personal preference, and she simply didnt like that one. She devoured the beans, hash brown, and biscoff shake though!

We shall return!

Pros: Everything vegan!, Mushroom chow mein is to die for :-), Student discount accepted

Cons: Costly even after student discount, Wheelchair accessibility could be tricky, Plastic straws biodegradeable?

OK for a quick fix

It was nice to have a burger that didn’t pretend to be meat. I had the portobello mushroom burger and my wife had the bean burger. They came in cheap rolls and a with small portion of chips. The burgers were fine but nothing special.

Pros: 100% vegan, Burgers that do not imitate meat

Cons: Small portions, Cheap rolls

Beautiful food, great service

Entirely vegan place, with great service. We have visited several lovin huts but my other half said the ocean burger was the best burger he's ever had. The shakes are delicious and the prices are really reasonable. Highly recommended!

Pros: Lots of options, fairly cheap, delicious

Cons: None

Good restaurant

Got a good selection of vegan options and I was mind blown at the fake meats, I think this would be a good place for someone trying to be vegan but I think there should be more healthier options but other than that it's great, upstairs has a great atmosphere and friendly staff.
